It is reported that the movie "Fortress" is based on the story of "Shaoshan Five Masters" and tells the story of the life-and-death game between revolutionary volunteers and enemies on the hidden front during the Great Revolution. The two protagonists (mao Jiaxuan and Shen Zhuoyi in the film) are engaged in a deadly secret battle due to a secret mission, and the two simultaneously believe that they are the code name identity of "Pang Defu", and the identities of the characters are reversed multiple times, and the truth is confusing.

Director Han Keyi once participated in the directing of "Ideal Shines on China". "I read a lot of materials and historical materials, and I feel that the story of the Chinese revolution is the most moving, and I am also deeply educated in the process of creation." Han Keyi introduced that "Fortress" focuses on the depths of history, using real events and characters as prototypes, excavating the characters' firm beliefs from the brilliant deeds of revolutionary martyrs, and letting the film celebrate the legend of the revolution. "Shaoshan, one of the filming locations, is exactly where the revolutionary fire is lit in the film, and the crew's in-depth shooting in the local area is also one of the ways to personally understand the revolutionary history and learn the revolutionary spirit of the predecessors."

Lead actor Guo Xiaodong is very honored to join the crew of "Fortress".
