Cao Xue, dean of the School of Visual Arts and Design of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, is the designer of the official logo of this year's Fair. He introduced that the logo of this year's fair is like a butterfly flying up, which resembles the small waist of the Canton Tower in the middle, and can also be seen as the reflection of the Pearl River. "It can be said that from all angles, it reflects the characteristics of this year's cultural fair, and also reflects the situation and pattern of the cultural industry and creative industry that the fair encourages everyone to do cultural and creative industries." In this regard, Cao Xue said that this year's cultural fair presents a form of "a hundred flowers blooming".

In 2019, the "ice pier" designed by Cao Xuehe and the team was elected as the mascot of the 2021 Beijing Winter Olympics, so Li Xi, secretary of the provincial party committee, praised Cao Xue's team for winning glory for the province and the country. Cao Xue said that as a member of Guangzhou's cultural construction, the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and his team will continue to serve the society, use professionalism and design to tell a good Chinese story, and revitalize Guangzhou's cultural industry together.
