Mitchell missed today's game against the Hawks with an ankle sprain

According to Jazz reporter Tony Jones, Donovan Mitchell will miss today's game against the Hawks on the grounds of an ankle sprain.

Mitchell, who missed the final 16 games of the regular season and the first game of the playoffs last season with an ankle sprain, hinted in an interview before the start of the season that he was willing to accept load management this season.

This will be Mitchell's first absence this season, but the next two away games are back-to-back, so he may miss at least one of them. This season, Mitchell has averaged 24.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game, and the Jazz are currently 6-1, ranking first in the West.
