First, remove all kinds of algae
The main purpose of our use of these tool fish is to allow them to clean the walls of the fish tank and the various algae in the fish tank, which is the biggest purpose of our feeding tool fish.
After all, for raising ornamental fish, cleaning the tank wall is a very annoying thing for us, some algae adhere to the cylinder wall, the bottom of the tank, the foliage of aquatic grass and various filter materials and landscaping, and then there will be constant debris and mucus adsorption on it, it will be difficult to clean up over time, tool fish can help us solve this problem very well.
Second, eat the leftovers
This is the second characteristic of tool fish, especially for some tool fish living on the bottom, so that they maintain a moderate sense of hunger, of course, they will take the initiative to clean up the residue leftovers in the fish tank, the main reason why they can eat the so-called fish manure, the main reason is because they are extremely hungry to eat the residual nutrients in the fish.
If the food of ornamental fish is well absorbed, they will not have a lot of bowel movements, and most tool fish will not eat.
Third, eat the substances of the oil film
This mainly refers to some small ornamental fish that can float up to the surface of the fish tank, omnivorous, and when they are extremely hungry, they can swallow the oil film material on the surface of the water.
Fourth, automatic sand turning function
In our fish tank with bottom sand, there will inevitably be some debris and garbage left in the bottom sand, if we use the sand washer to clean it up, it will be more troublesome, and the water quality of another fish tank will also be turbid.
For some ornamental fish that like to drill sand, we can come in handy at this time, of course, this also depends on the feeding density of ornamental fish in our fish tank and the amount of residual feces at the bottom.
These must also have a corresponding proportion, and we cannot simply rely on these tool fish, and as for the fruits of their labor, it depends on how our masters effectively match and use them.
First, the special-shaped fish of the cleaner class
These ornamental fish of the cleaner class, regardless of their color, appearance and price, are actually a type of fish, also known as special-shaped fish, including scavengers, golden sails, golden beards and many other kinds of special-shaped fish, their body size and habits are almost exactly the same, but the color difference is huge, it can be seen that the price of ornamental fish still depends on the value.
Their main role is to clean up the algae and food residues of the fish tank, and the larger individuals can have a certain sand turning function.
2. Ornamental fish of rat fish

Mouse fish are not as strong as scavengers in their ability to remove algae, but they are petite and cute, and their breeding methods are more unusual, which is very popular and loved by aquaclists.
Third, the ornamental fish of the elves have strong ability to remove algae
These small ornamental fish are similar in nature to ratfish, belonging to the catfish family, catfish family more, they are also a tool fish with strong algae removal ability and food residues.
Including the more famous elf fish and black line flying fox, there are many similar species corresponding to them, such as the gold wire flying fox, black elf, zebra elf, helicopter and so on.
Fourth, small oviparous raw ornamental fish, manlong fish
This mainly refers to the small oviparous ornamental fish of the Mary class, which can actively feed on the oil film on the surface of the water, and they can also nibble on moss and algae, including the black Mary we know, and gold, silver, and black Mary balls, while most other oviparous small ornamental fish can feed on proteosomes, which is also an advantage for them.

5. All kinds of loach ornamental fish or native fish
We can think of them as Chinese ratfish, some of which are also very large, most of them are benthic fish, some have a mouth similar to a suction cup, basically have whiskers, generally belong to the loach type of native fish, most of which are actually carnivorous, and the requirements for feeding water quality are quite high.
However, they can also eat certain food scraps, with a certain function of stirring impurities at the bottom of the fish tank, including many loach ornamental fish such as Chinese sucker loach, long thin loach, beautiful small loach and so on.
The most famous and familiar loach ornamental fish, even treated as fodder fish, are ordinary loach, because of their natural drilling habits, it will be of great help for flipping the bottom sand of the fish tank.
But we are not easy to raise too much in the fish tank, basically this thing is in the fish tank of the native fish, and when it is used as a feed fish, the quality of loach is not very good, due to the high density of feeding and selling, most of them are scaly wounds, which will lead to their body surface mucus will also secrete more, and eventually the disease is rampant, we need to carefully select and cultivate it.
Once adapted to the environment and after the recovery of physique, loach is still relatively easy to raise, one of them is not afraid of lack of oxygen, and the other is that the diet is more mixed, almost everything is eaten, although the ability to remove algae is not strong, but the function of eating food debris and turning sand is absolutely first-class, and the general is not too aggressive of other ornamental fish.
