Beautiful and deadly dueling pistol! It was the last line of defence for the dignity of the French gentlemen
These are two very beautiful French firing guns, made around 1870 in the late years of Napoleon III's reign.
The two firing pistols were 40 cm long, of which the barrel was 26 cm long and 11 mm caliber, using a rifled barrel.
These two firing pistols were relatively behind the times, as metal fixed-loading bullets would soon become widespread, and as early as 1835 the Colt revolver had been available.
Ps: These two firing rifles are mainly used as dueling pistols, and France is a country where dueling culture prevails.
