According to the Lanzhou Evening News, the 27th China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair (hereinafter referred to as the "Lanzhou Fair") was held in Lanzhou from July 8 to 12. Jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, the State Administration for Market Regulation, the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Gansu Provincial Government, the Lan Fair adopts the mode of combining online and offline exhibitions, aiming to build the Lan Fair into an important window for China's opening up to the west, an important bridge for foreign economic and trade exchanges and a never-ending economic and trade cooperation platform.
During the meeting period, 33 activities such as economic and trade promotion will be held, some sister provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities will hold investment promotion activities, and cities and relevant departments in the province will organize special investment promotion and project signing activities. In order to highlight the recruitment of large and strong, this year's Lan Fair also invited a number of "three top 500" and industry leading enterprise representatives such as Baowu Group, Hailiang Group, Yuexing Group to participate in the meeting, and will hold a series of activities such as green ecological industry project docking and negotiation, Tianjin Enterprise Longxing, Longshang Hometown Line and so on.
This year's Lan Fair invited Nepal and Uruguay as the guest of honor, invited Shaanxi Province as the theme province, and held the opening ceremony, exhibition display, exchange symposium and theme province economic and trade exchange activities of the country of honor at the Gansu International Convention and Exhibition Center on July 8. According to the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, this year's Lan Fair only invites diplomatic institutions in China, foreign business associations in China and relevant representatives of Hong Kong and Macao to attend the meeting. It is reported that at present, the ambassadors of Uruguay, Belarus, Moldova and other countries to China, the representatives of embassies and consulates and business associations of Nepal, Belgium, South Korea, Singapore, Mauritius, Thailand, the United States, Austria, Japan, New Zealand, Uzbekistan and other countries in China, as well as representatives of international organizations such as the SCO and the China-ASEAN Center have confirmed their participation in the meeting. In addition, the Beijing Office of the Hong Kong SAR Government, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the Macao Convention and Exhibition Industry Association will also send delegations to attend the meeting. Overseas guests will also participate in economic and trade exchanges and forum activities, including the Gansu-Uruguay Cooperation Matchmaking Conference and the Second Belt and Road Commercial Law (Yellow River) Forum.
The offline pavilion of the Lan Fair, which opened on July 8 and officially opened to the public on July 9, is also highly anticipated this year. The content of the participation of various provinces in this year's Lan Fair is richer and more diverse. Henan Province and Hubei Enshi Prefecture are both exhibiting for the first time. Fujian Province will hold the "Fujian Goods Huaxia Lanzhou Station" activity, and Guangdong Province will organize the "Guangdong Trade National Supply and Procurement Matchmaking Meeting" activity, both of which have organized local characteristic enterprises and commodities to appear during the Lanzhou Fair. At the same time, a fashion Lanzhou urban consumption exhibition exhibition area is specially set up outside the museum, which will organize imported goods and famous and characteristic consumer goods inside and outside the province to participate in the exhibition, focusing on trade negotiations and consumer transactions, and building a business circulation window. The main exhibition hall of this year's Lan Fair also organized the "2021 Buyer Conference and Characteristic Product Production and Marketing Docking Activity", and the "famous, excellent, special and refined" products and landmark products of 14 cities and states in the province will be concentrated, and buyers such as well-known chain supermarkets and commercial platforms outside the province will be invited to negotiate transactions on the spot.
