The film tells the story of the lonely shepherd Tharlo who went to the county town to apply for a second-generation ID card, met Yang Tso, a barber shopkeeper, and met a love. A young woman, a lonely old shepherd, Tharlo, who knew almost nothing about the outside world, could not resist the temptations of the outside world, and Tharlo sold the sheep and entrusted his life's income to Yang Tso, who fled Tharlo. For Tharlo, the old world has collapsed, the new world has not yet been established, and Tharlo's fate should go.
It is reported that the first stop of this advanced screening was chosen in Xining, also because of the director's strong homeland complex. Qinghai's long-standing history and culture and unique natural resources have created brilliant and colorful ethnic customs, and as a multi-ethnic gathering place, the diverse culture has deeply influenced the director Wan Ma Tse-dan and his creations.
After the end of the film, director Wan Ma Tse-dan interacted with the audience with the main actors Sid Nyima, Yang Xiucuo and Tashi. Wan Ma Tse-dan said that the whole film is all in Tibetan dialogue, not staying at the surface of the Tibetan scenery, but paying attention to the situation of traditional Tibetan civilization in the context of modernization, and chose to use the perspective of "static fixed camera position does not change focus", making the film simple and clear. This "minimalist" film narrative style contains deep connotations and has a role in promoting the development of Tibetan films in the future.

It is understood that "Tharlo" will be released in a limited number of times nationwide on December 9, when Shanghai, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Chengdu, Kunming and more cities will follow up.
