In 15 years, he used a pair of pliers to "pick up" a civilization all the way.

Wang Xiaohu is cleaning up the garbage in the green belt.

Every day, Wang Xiaohu greets the first rays of the morning sun and picks up garbage in the corners of the Lotus Pond community. He said: "I am idle, I take the garbage as a kind of fun, the road is clean, and everyone's mood is naturally smooth." From 2007 to the present, he has walked more than 100,000 kilometers and volunteered to pick up more than 15 tons of garbage.

As a native of Changzhou, Wang Xiaohu has a deep affection for this land. In 2005, his wife was hospitalized for heart disease, his wife asked for money to see a doctor, and his son asked for money to go to school, and the burden of the family made Wang Xiaohu difficult. Xiao Jianli, director of the Lotus Pond Community, knew about it, and immediately went to the door to offer condolences and sent love money, and the neighbors also extended a helping hand. A little bit of love was like a trickle, warming his heart. After his wife recovered from illness, Wang Xiaohu joined the party member volunteer patrol and began to pick up garbage in the community. "People must know how to be grateful, when they are old, they can only do some simple things, as long as the environment is good, it doesn't matter what others think of me." 」 Wang Xiaohu said.

15 years of persistence, only to protect the civilization along the way.
