In 1875, in order to facilitate trade with China, Russia, North Korea and other neighboring countries, as well as the United States, Mexico, Britain, France, Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands and other European and American countries, the Japanese government specially minted and issued trade coins.

During Meiji Restoration, all social systems in Japan imitated western countries. This is a country that looks like our Yelang country in ancient times. At that time, there were many obstacles in the country. In Meiji three years, a second-hand local currency machine was purchased from Hong Kong, a British colony. That year, a small amount of one yuan silver coins was produced. In 1876, Japan's ten thousand yuan platinum gold coins, both in shape and design, were world-class.

In the center of the front of the collection is the words "platinum 10000 yuan". There is a cherry blossom blooming on the top, with cherry chrysanthemum branches on the left and right sides. The flower buds are clear and distinguishable, and the branches and feet are crossed into bows, with strong Japanese characteristics.

In the center of the back is the design of two dragons spitting fireballs, which proves the theory of "Huocheng" in Japanese culture and implies the generation of "Japan". The two dragons open their teeth. They are angry and right. The phosphorus is visible. The two tails are vivid.

The 10000 yuan silver coin of Meiji in Japan was one of the Japanese silver coins that flowed into China in the old days. The Japanese silver dollar is mostly used in trading ports and flows into China with the development of Sino Japanese trade. The circulation areas include Xiamen, Fuzhou, Jiujiang, Nanchang, Shantou, Shenyang, Dalian and other places in the north. It is also called "Japan dragon ocean" because of its dragon bead pattern on the back.

This dragon pattern is very different from the traditional Chinese dragon pattern, which is different from the majesty and domineering power of the Chinese dragon pattern. The Japanese dragon pattern tends to be vicious visually, which is in line with the Japanese national character of fighting bravely and ruthlessly.
