Innovation, green transition and international cooperation are in focus at the 2024 China Brand Day. Gao Ang reports from the annual event that's underway in Shanghai.
GAO ANG Shanghai "At this year's China Brand Day, a key word is new quality productive forces. At the event, one company is displaying the 35-kilovolt kilometer-level superconducting power transmission project, the world's longest in its category. It is also working to build solar, energy storage and charging integrated stations in Shanghai, the city with the largest NEV ownership in the world.

According to the World Intellectual Property Organization, in 2023, China ranked 12th in the Global Innovation Index. The same year China had the highest number of top 100 science and technology clusters globally. The push to foster innovation is creating international benefits.
