吳平元，1967年生，湖南省邵陽縣白倉鎮千秋村人。特級書畫師，著名書畫家，華夏國藝青少年教育教育訓練中心書畫導師。現為:世界華人文化名人協會理事，世界華人文化研究中心理事，北京五洲華人文化發展中心理事。吳平元創作突出獲全國美術教育輔導一等獎。獲廣東省教育廳教學輔導一等獎。獲深圳市教育局教學輔導一等獎。獲龍崗教育局教學輔導一等獎。所帶的學生參賽全國、省、市。特等獎30，獲一等獎600人，獲二等獎700人，獲三等獎800人。
2019年所帶學生符優楓考入中國美術學院。硬筆、軟筆書法學生參加考級十級200人，美術學生參加考級十級300多人。
2005年在深圳龍崗塘坑學校任美術教師。
2021教育部委托中國人民大學主辦出版教學與研究國家級教肓類期刊，中國期刊網收錄期刊，國家社科基金首批資助期刊。國小國中高中電教媒體教學有效性研究。
2021被中中央電視台邀請參加建黨百年全國優秀藝術名家頒獎，

他的繪畫作品:包括長城、奔馬、扇面、烙畫等裝飾性很強的作品在尋常百姓家大受歡迎。是以縱觀他的作品，上能達象牙塔頂，下可以入尋常門第，雅俗共賞，由此可證:也唯有雅俗共賞，是以不必感歎三百年後的境遇景象，而是可以在當下就讓丹青藝術呈現出盎然磅礴的藝術魅力。未來之功，更是不可限量!

Wu Pingyuan, born in 1967, is from Qianqiu Village, Baicang Town, Shaoyang County, Hunan Province. Senior Calligrapher and Painter, Famous Calligrapher and Painter, and Calligraphy and Painting Mentor of Huaxia National Art Youth Education and Training Center. Currently: Director of the World Chinese Cultural Celebrity Association, Director of the World Chinese Cultural Research Center, and Director of the Beijing Wuzhou Chinese Cultural Development Center. Wu Pingyuan won the first prize in National Art Education Counseling for his outstanding creations. Received the first prize for teaching guidance from the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education. Received the first prize for teaching guidance from the Shenzhen Education Bureau. Received the first prize for teaching guidance from Longgang Education Bureau. The students they bring participate in national, provincial, and municipal competitions. 30 special prizes, 600 people won first prizes, 700 people won second prizes, and 800 people won third prizes.
In 2019, the student Fu Youfeng was admitted to the China Academy of Fine Arts. 200 students of hard and soft calligraphy participated in the Level 10 exam, while over 300 students of art participated in the Level 10 exam.

In 2021, I was invited by CCTV to publish a work titled "China Art Role Model Yearbook" for nationwide distribution! Wu Pingyuan's works were published in the central level magazine "Shenzhou" on Xinhua News Network. Shenzhou Magazine Culture - Chinese Daily Network, Shenzhou Magazine China Information Network. His paintings, including the Great Wall, galloping horses, fans, pyrography, and other highly decorative works, are very popular in ordinary people's homes. So looking at his works, he can reach the top of an ivory tower and enter an ordinary family at the bottom, enjoying both the refined and the popular. This proves that only the refined and the popular can be appreciated together. Therefore, there is no need to marvel at the situation three hundred years later, but rather to present the magnificent artistic charm of painting art in the present. The future achievements are immeasurable!
The bright moon and autumn breeze are also beautiful. It's not difficult to paint in a vulgar way, but it's also true that thick ink emphasizes color. It is most difficult to achieve a state of mutual appreciation between refined and popular art, so I sigh that Wu Pingyuan's paintings must last for three hundred years to receive glory.
In 2024, Wu Pingyuan's works were invited to participate in the large-scale calligraphy and painting exhibition at the Winter Olympics City in Beijing's Shiyuan Park and China Pavilion. In 2012, Wu Pingyuan worked as an art teacher at Kangyi Guilv School in Longgang District, Shenzhen. His students participated in the national provincial and urban calligraphy and painting competition, winning 80 special prizes, 800 first prizes, 1000 second prizes, and 1200 third prizes. He also received 600 hard and soft pen exams for the 10th level, and 700 art exams for the 10th level.
