Deng Xiulu, born in 1959, was from Gengguantun Village, Qingzhou Town, Qing County, Hebei Province. In 1975, he studied traditional Chinese painting seal carving under Mr. Fu Jianmin, and in 1979, he studied calligraphy under Mr. Tan Xiuhan. Later, he was appreciated by Mr. Han Huanfeng and worked hard with him to study seal carving. I have visited teachers Zhang Zuhua from Beijing, Feng Xingbo from Tianjin, and Wang Keli multiple times, and have received hands-on guidance from all teachers to continuously improve my work level.
In 1984, Yiyuan Spring Calligraphy and Painting Shop was founded. Calligraphy, painting, and seal carving works have been published in the Youth Daily, Hebei Daily, North China Militia Magazine, and Tianjin Daily. They have participated in numerous provincial, regional, and various levels of calligraphy, painting, and seal carving exhibitions, and have won numerous awards and honorary certificates. Their works have been selected for the Canghai Seal Collection County Calligraphy and Painting Collection. The work has won a silver medal in the 15th National Lushan Cup Calligraphy and Painting Competition, the first National Song of Great People Competition, and the fourth National China Dream Cup. Gold Medal of the National 'Singing with Dongfang Hong' Competition, Gold Medal of the National 'Prosperous China' Competition, Gold Medal of the National Calligraphy and Painting Invitational Exhibition for the Middle aged and the Elderly to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the CPC. Joined the first member of Canghai Printing Society in 1985.
I am currently a member of the Hebei Provincial Seal Engraving Research Association, a member of the Cangzhou City level Art Workers Association, a member of the cultural and artistic community in Qingxian County, the vice president of Qingzhou Printing Society, and a member of the China Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Association. I was hired as a director of the China Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Council. In 2015, I established the Grand Canal Calligraphy and Painting Academy and Pangu Printing Society, serving as the president and president.
