Electric是一個功能強大的電路設計軟體，其最初版本釋出時間是34年前，不過，經曆多次修訂，其核心還是基本未變的。Electric超大規模內建電路設計系統，支援模拟和數字設計，包括MOS（NMOS/ CMOS），Bipolar，甚至PCB；支援IC排版、邏輯模拟、FPGA構架、設計/電氣規則檢查等等。
