面試中有一類問題要求你講述在工作中如何面對一個特定的情況,以及你是如何處理它的,這一類問題就是行為問題(behavior questions)
比如:So, tell me about a time when you handled conflict well.
What is your greatest achievement?
這就是STAR方法的用武之地! STAR, 即情境Situation, 任務Task, 行動Action, 結果Result.
[煙花R]以“What is your greatest achievement?”問題為例,給出一個STAR的回答。
Situation - “I worked as an assistant to the marketing director. We had a meeting with a potential client. On my way there she called me and told me she was headed to the hospital as a family member had had an accident.”
Task - “She asked me if I could carry on the presentation by myself and if not, I could cancel the meeting. ”
Action - “I like a challenge and I was confident I could do it so I agreed to hold the meeting.”
Result - “The presentation not only went well, but the client actually hired our company. My boss was more than happy.”
需要注意的:
面試前,記得準備好幾個工作相關的例子,最好每個案例可以從不同的方向去闡述。
回答時候,需強調你的案例和這個崗位的相關性,比如技能是否引用到這個崗位上,所完成的工作内容與這個崗位是否有重合等等。
