本文介紹文本檢測和文本識别的Evaluation Protocols

Text Detection

1. Evaluation protocols of ICDAR 2003 and 2005

   定義m如下所示：

   

   其中Area(A∩B)即矩形A和B相交的面積(如圖中紅色部分)；Area(A and B)代表the minimum bounding rectangle containing both(如圖中黃色部分)。

   

   定義計算方式如下：

   

   公式中r代表一個bounding box，R代表多個bounding box。

   E(estimates)：算法計算出的rectangles；

   T(targets)：ground truth。

   

2. Evaluation protocols of ICDAR 2011 and 2013

   Evaluation protocols of ICDAR 2003 and 2005存在的問題：隻支援1對1的問題，即一個檢測結果對應一個标注結果，不能夠解決1對多或多對多的情況。

   什麼叫1對1，1對多呢？下面舉例說明。
