有趣的英語冷知識（140）I'm game不要翻譯成我是遊戲？實際含義差太遠！
I'm game是個看起來很簡單的句子，有的朋友可能認為：不就是“我是遊戲”嗎？
Game做名詞用，的确是“遊戲，運動”的意思。但上面的翻譯肯定讓人覺得别扭，不明是以。
當然也不正确。
game除了做名詞外，還可以做形容詞使用，劍橋英語詞典的解釋是：willing to do things that are new, difficult, or that involve risks.
還有一種解釋是：eager or willing to do something new or challenging.
漢語意思就是“願意嘗試的；有冒險精神的；願意做新的或者挑戰性的事情”。
由此，I'm game的含義不是“我是遊戲”，而是“我願意接受挑戰，我同意，我願意，我贊同！”
類似的英語表達方式還有：

I' m in. 我加入
Count me in. 算我一個。
比如：
-Who’s game for a swim? -I'm game!
-誰願意去遊泳？-我願意！
