狼和獅子（Wolves and lions）

有一次，狼從羊群中搶走一隻羊，正叼着羊往回走，碰上了獅子。獅子立刻從狼口裡搶走羊。狼遠遠地站着，自言自語地說：“你搶我的東西太不正當了。”那獅子笑着說：“那麼，這東西是朋友正當地贈送給你的嗎？”

寓意：竊賊和強盜都是一丘之貉，沒有好壞之分。

狼和驢（Wolves and donkeys）

有一天，野驢的腳被刺紮了，走起路來一瘸一拐，十分痛苦。一條狼見到了受傷的野驢，想要吃掉這唾手可得的獵物。野驢請求他說：“你幫我拔出腳上的刺，消除我的痛苦，使我毫無痛苦地讓你吃。”狼用牙齒把刺拔出來，野驢不再腳痛了，頓時，他的腳也有力了，便一腳踢死了狼，逃到别處，保住了自己的性命。

寓意：對敵人行善，不僅得不到好處，還會遭到不幸。
