In the outdoor sports community in Xi'an, there is a slogan that goes: " When you are unsure of where to go, choose Jiawutai". This reflects that Jiawutai is always their default destination when people face difficulty in making choices,or not sure where to go during the weekend. 嘉午台，坐落于西安市长安区引镇，隐藏在秦岭山脉的心脏地带，介于壮丽的大峪与小峪之间的白道峪内。它与西安市区的距离约为40余公里，这使得它成为许多登山爱好者心中的圣地。在这里，你可以远离都市的喧嚣，沉浸在青山绿水之间，体验秦岭山脉的秀美、壮观与宁静。
Jiawutai is located in Yin Town, Chang'an District, Xi'an, hidden in the heart of the Qinling Mountains, nestled between the magnificent Dayu and Xiaoyu.It approximately 40 kilometers away from the city center of Xi'an, making it a sacred place in the hearts of many mountain climbers.Here, you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city, immerse yourself in the green mountains and clear waters, and experience the beauty, grandeur, and tranquility of the Qinling Mountains.
嘉午台属于浅山，为未开发景区，其由东西南北中五座山峰组成，它的中心最高点——岱顶，海拔1870余米。由山下到嘉午台，沿途有寺庙21座，有天然古洞8处。沿途行进，一路异景奇石，鸟语花香，使人目不暇接。
Jiawutai belongs to the foothills, an undeveloped scenic area consisting of five peaks in the east, west, south, north, and central. Its highest point, Dai Ding, stands at an altitude of over 1870 meters. Along the way from the foot of the mountain to Jiawutai, there are twenty-one temples and eight natural ancient caves. The journey is filled with unique landscapes, providing a feast for the eyes.
远在唐贞观元年（公元627年）前，就成为长安城佛教圣地，名闻天下，洞侧有唐贞观年间的摩崖石刻，还有浮雕佛像。唐宋以来，历代不少达官贵人、名人学士到此游玩，赋诗作画。如今，这里依然是西安城市民休闲消遣，夏凉赏景的好去处。
Even before the first year of Tang Zhenguan (627 AD), it became a Buddhist holy site in Chang'an City,and renowned throughout the world.
