Liu Yongjie, from Chang'an, Shaanxi. Graduated from the Department of Traditional Chinese Painting at Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts with a Master's degree in Literature, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the Department of Traditional Chinese Painting at Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, former Director of Liu Yongjie's Studio in the Department of Traditional Chinese Painting, member of the China Artists Association, member of the China Mural Painting Society, former Vice Chairman of the Fourth Shaanxi Artists Association, researcher at the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Painting, and researcher at the National Cultural and Art Promotion Association's Academy of Traditional Chinese Painting.
Artistic achievement: The work "Chinese New Year" won the Excellent Work Award at the 6th National Art Exhibition in 1984 and was collected by the National Art Museum of China. "Silk Road Scenery" (collaborative work) won the Gold Award at the 7th National Art Exhibition in 1989. The Silk Road Ancient City won the bronze medal at the first Maple Leaf Award of the Canadian Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Research Association in 1992. "The Golden Autumn of Guanzhong" won the third prize at the 3rd Contemporary Chinese Gongbi Painting Exhibition in 1994. Guanzhong Hanzi was selected for the 8th National Art Exhibition. "Liangshan Autumn" won the bronze medal award at the National Chinese Figure Painting Exhibition in 1997. The Golden Wind won the Excellent Award at the National Art Exhibition in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China in 2001. "Thick Soil" was selected for the 9th National Art Exhibition. The Great Tang Silk Road Painting (a large-scale meticulous heavy color mural and collaborative work) won the Best Work Award at the first National Mural Exhibition in 2004 and was selected for the 10th National Art Exhibition. The painting of the prosperous Tang Dynasty (relief mural and collaborative work) was selected for the 10th National Art Exhibition. "The Hot Land" (Gongbi Painting) was selected for the 10th National Art Exhibition in 2004 and collected by the Zhejiang Art Museum. "Collecting the Broken Couple" (freehand brushwork) was selected for the 3rd National Academy of Fine Arts Excellent Works Exhibition in 2005. "Suide Han" (freehand brushwork) was selected for the 12th National Art Exhibition in 2014.
In 2015, won the Excellent Award at the 2nd Shaanxi Art Award (Creation Award).
In 1997, he was granted a special government allowance by the State Council for his outstanding contributions to the cultural and artistic education industry.
