The biggest and most celebrated festival in China and part of east and south east Asia. It falls on the 1st day of the first month according to Chinese Lunar Calendar. It is the most important holiday of the year in China. It is a time of family's reunion to celebrate the coming of the New Year. On New Year's Eve, families get together to send off the old year and usher in the new year which they hope will be rich in harvest, happiness and success. Everybody goes to bed later than usual. Some spend the night in watching the year go out, chatting or playing card games, and watching TV. For the children, it is a treat to set off firecrackers and fireworks and you can hear them pop and bang throughout the night .#今日头条创作挑战赛#

农历的正月初一就是春节，它也是中国及部分东亚和东南亚国家最重要的传统节日。在这一天，全家人欢聚一堂庆祝新年的到来。在除夕夜，一家人聚在一起吃年夜饭，辞旧迎新，期待来年的丰收和幸福生活。除夕夜是小孩子们的最爱，因为在除夕之夜，他们可以尽情地燃放鞭炮和礼花。
