Miracles
AROUND US, LIFE bursts forth with miracles—a glass of water, a ray of sunshine, a leaf, a caterpillar, a flower, laughter, raindrops. If you live in awareness, it is easy to see miracles everywhere.
Each human being is a multiplicity of miracles. Eyes that see thousands of colors, shapes, and forms; ears that hear a bee flying or a thunderclap; a brain that ponders a speck of dust as easily as the entire cosmos; a heart that beats in rhythm with the heartbeat of all beings.
When we are tired and feel discouraged by life’s daily struggles, we may not notice these miracles, but they are always there.
奇迹
在我们周围，生命中展露出奇迹——一杯水，一缕阳光，一片叶子，一只毛毛虫，一朵花，欢笑，雨滴。如果你生活在觉知之中，那么就很容易在任何地方看到奇迹。
每个人都是各种奇迹的结合。眼睛可以看到万千种颜色和形状；耳朵可以听到蜜蜂飞舞乃至雷鸣轰隆；大脑可以去思索一粒尘沙，也能轻而易举地思考整个宇宙；心可以与一切生命的心在一个节奏律动。
当我们在日常的困难中厌倦了，沮丧了，我们可能注意不到这些奇迹，但他们始终就在那里。

Ambassador of the Cosmos
WHEN I HOLD A piece of bread, I look at it, and sometimes I smile at it. The piece of bread is an ambassador of the cosmos offering nourishment and support.
Looking deeply into the piece of bread, I see the sunshine, the clouds, the great earth. Without the sunshine, no wheat can grow. Without the clouds, there is no rain for the wheat to grow. Without the great earth, nothing can grow. That is why the piece of bread that I hold in my hand is a wonder of life.
It is there for all of us. We have to be there for it.
宇宙的大使
当我拿起一片面包，我会看着它，有时也会对着它微笑。
这片面包是宇宙派来为我们提供营养与支持的大使啊。
深入地观察这片面包，我看到了阳光，云彩，大地。没有阳光，麦子就没法成长；没有云，就没有雨来滋润麦子；没有大地，一切就没法生长。这就是为什么，我手中的这片面包，是生命的奇迹。
为了我们，它就在那里；我们也要为它而在那。
