fall asleep入睡;睡着，表示动作;表示自然进入睡眠状态，有时指无意之中或在不适当的场合睡着。

fall asleep为非延续性动词短语，不能与表示一段时间的状语连用，

My father fell asleep on the sofa.我爸爸在沙发上睡着了。

After a while I fell asleep.一会儿我就睡着了。
