Sichuan Zigong Dinosaur Museum is a relic museum in Zigong City, Sichuan Province, China. It is also the first modern professional dinosaur museum in China. It includes 3 classes, 11 orders, and 15 families of genera and species. Located at No. 238, Dashanpu Town, the northeastern suburb of Zigong City, Sichuan Province. Construction began in April 1984, built on the site of the Dashanpu dinosaur fossil group. It was completed on January 15, 1987 and opened to the outside world. It now covers an area of 70,000 square kilometers. In 1991, the Dashanpu dinosaur fossil group site became a cultural relics protection unit in Sichuan Province. It became a national geopark in 2002. One of the three largest dinosaur museums in the world, as famous as the National Dinosaur Park of the United States and the Provincial Dinosaur Park of Canada.
