Zhangshan Town, Lai'an County: Promoting "Poverty Prevention" and Building a "Firewall"

In order to further consolidate the effective connection between the results of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, and prevent and resolve the risk of poverty alleviation and low-income rural people returning to poverty, the town actively promotes the work related to the comprehensive insurance of "poverty prevention and insurance".

1. Publicity and guidance. Carry out "poverty prevention insurance" insurance claim publicity activities, using group meetings, villagers' congresses, WeChat groups, broadcasts and other publicity channels to let the public know the "poverty prevention and insurance" insurance policies, claim conditions, declaration procedures and confirmation conditions.

Second, accurate mapping. According to the data of poverty alleviation households and monitoring households exported from the national system, timely feedback is given to each village. Each village uses the village-based task force, the help cadres to visit households, telephone inquiries, etc. to map out the household production situation and basic information of the poverty-alleviated households and monitor the households, so as to ensure that they should be guaranteed to the fullest.

III. Strengthen safeguards. Form the main leaders of the town party and government to personally grasp, the leaders in charge take the lead in grasping, the implementation of special personnel and the undertaking insurance company up and down linkage, close cooperation, complete the verification task, to ensure that the poverty prevention target review and publicity, insurance payment, support measures and other important links are fair and open, build a solid poverty prevention "protective wall".
