On March 5, the 2019 Self-driving Tour Conference opened at the Poly Grand Theater in Shanghai. Hook Road, one of the world's three top off-road meccas, which has attracted much attention in the global off-road industry, was first publicly released to domestic self-driving travel enthusiasts at the meeting, and the first scene display was carried out.
Hook Road is located in jeep safari off-road park at the southern tip of Helan Mountain, and the entire park covers an area of about 17 square kilometers. The mountains here stand like blades, and the rock walls are all clumped stones, like concrete pouring. The entire canyon crosses the axis, the V-shaped ditch, the shell crater and all the other off-road elements are available. Hook Road is the only route through the park, with a total length of about 7 kilometers, spanning Inner Mongolia and Ningxia provinces, with many relics of the Ming and Han Great Wall and Beacon Tower. Because it is a tuanshi structure, there is no grass, so there are no herders, nor has it been developed, which is very primitive and vicissitudes.
According to Gao Jinsong, the founder of Hook Way, after nearly four years of hard work, Hook Road has 23 off-road routes, becoming one of the world's top three off-road meccas on a par with the Rubicon Trail and Moab in the United States. Hook Road not only enables China to have its own world-class professional off-road route, as a Chinese private enterprise, it has won the recognition and respect of foreign counterparts. Gao Jinsong said that as a Hook Road born in the Helan Mountains, it fully respects the local natural and cultural environment; develops local souvenirs to help poor areas increase income; cross-border industrial combination makes Hook Road a tourist destination, becoming a comprehensive experience platform that integrates off-road, self-driving tours, outdoor sports events, extreme sports, education empowerment, music and art; leading and promoting environmental protection and public welfare. It is reported that all the official activities of Hook Road follow the international law "lnt (leave no trace zero trace)", and more than 20,000 trees have been planted in the Tengger Desert, and the company's employees have been led to participate in charity and public welfare activities every year.
"In the eyes of many people, we are a bunch of boring crazy people, there is money to burn, but they don't know, we are not snobbish, not utilitarian, not yielding, not giving up; we work in a team, even if the last bit of food and water is left, we are willing to give it to others, we encourage each other with sincerity and trust... That's our off-road. No need to prove, just pass! Gao Jinsong said.
