The Yuwan Soviet Military Region in the history of the People's Liberation Army

The Yuwan Soviet Military Region was established in December 1946 and is subordinate to the Jinji-Hebei Luyu Military Region. In February 1949, the 18th Army of the Chinese People's Liberation Army was formed on the basis of the first department of the military region organ, the independent brigade of the military region and the basic cadre regiments of each military sub-district, and the number of the Yuwan Soviet Military Region was abolished.
