On June 12, I wrote an article about The Hanging Cloud Mountain in Jingxing, Shijiazhuang, in which I rewrote about the scenery of Hangyun Mountain and the touching heroic deeds of Hangyun Mountain, and after a few days I re-ascended to Hangyun Mountain, first, to accompany a friend who has supported me since I wrote the article to go hiking to see the scenery, and second, to explore a special geological phenomenon on the ridge of Hangyun Mountain, for which I specially invited the captain of the Shijiazhuang Geographical Exploration Team (hereinafter referred to as the Stone Exploration Team) to accompany him.
01 Re-ascend Tonun Mountain
Departing from Shijiazhuang City at 4:30 a.m. and arriving at Huangyan Village in Luquan District, it has passed 5 o'clock, and the illusion of watching the sunrise at the top of the mountain has been shattered, at this time the sun has risen above the mountains in the east, and its dazzling light has illuminated the entire Hangyun Mountain. But there are no regrets, looking at the magnificent morning sun all the way, the magnificence of the natural world can always bring me an inexplicable excitement and touch, and the sleepiness of getting up early is completely dissipated.
The last time I came to Hangyun Mountain with friends, it was from Jingxing Sanyu Village to the mountain, this time under the leadership of the captain of the stone exploration team, we went up the mountain from Huangyan Village in Luquan District, from this side to the mountain, the road is much closer, from the city about half an hour to reach the foot of the mountain.
Because this place has been developed and mined, so the way up the mountain is easier to walk, walking in this side of the cliff, suddenly remembered Su Shi's "Chibi Huaigu", and touched the eyes again. "Amorous should laugh at me, early birth Huafa."
We chatted and walked, there were blue skies and morning breezes, birds and rising suns, and the road was quite relaxed. After walking for a while, a tricycle came up behind, the car was two men and a woman of three old people, I don't know what the reason is, I think it may be "throwing luck", the old man took the initiative to greet us and said: Come on the car, take you up the mountain. Although we were moved, we still refused the kindness of the old man and told the old man that we came to climb the mountain and came to experience the fun of climbing. So the old man went forward, but the next road, the old man was "like a shadow" with us.
02 Hanging Cloud Mountain Ice Mortar Group
Soon, we came to the place known as the "Jade Girl Pond" by the locals, that is, the Ice Mortar Group of Hangyun Mountain. Professor Han Tonglin, a researcher at the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, known as the "father of the Chinese ice mortar", once came here to investigate the field, he believes that this is the ice mortar, and it is a crystalline limestone ice mortar group that is very rare at low latitude, and it is the remains of quaternary glaciers.
At present, the vast majority of the countries found are granite and volcanic rock ice mortar, And the Hanging Cloud Mountain ice mortar is the only limestone ice mortar that exists on the ridge in Hebei, because the limestone is relatively soft and easy to corrode and peel, so it is indeed very rare to retain. Unfortunately, there is no protection and clarification here, and I wonder if we can still see them in a few years?
The captain of the stone expedition team with me was skeptical of the glacier, believing that the ice mortar was a pit formed by the stones wrapped in the glacier against the ground, and such pits were generally shallow and had a large area, while the single area of the pit here was not very large. What he doubted most was the butterfly trilobite fossils he found in the pits, which were dated to prove that the craters were from 499 million years ago, rather than from the Fourth Season Ice Age two or three million years ago. I admire his dedication and seriousness to geographical inquiry.
Several old people we met on the way up the mountain also stopped with us at the ice mortar, and they excitedly told us that this is holy water, and these waters can cure diseases, especially skin diseases, so let us quickly wash our hands and wash our faces here, and when we finish, they will wash up. I looked at the water, and I didn't have the courage to wash my face here, but I still tried to put my hand in and feel it.
I really hope that a more professional and authoritative person can solve the mystery of the formation of this ice mortar, test what kind of minerals it contains, and whether it can really be "cured" as the old people "believe". But the truth is the truth, the search is still to explore, as for the "faith" of the old people, or do not break it as well.
03 Climb the mountain with the old man to watch the scenery and listen to stories
Leaving the ice mortar group, we continued to move forward, probably pitying me for being a lady, the old man still tried to invite me to the car, but I still refused, so the old people drove around and waited for us. We cherish the grass and trees here, one stone and one monument, especially with the company of two men, my courage has also grown, I saw a cave, and dared to go inside to find out.
After the tricycle had no way to go, the old people began to hike up the mountain with us, explaining the mountain to us all the way and explaining the heroic story of the mountain. Although I sometimes can't understand the dialect of the old man, but I am still touched by the enthusiasm of the old man, then I may as well be a "qualified" listener.
We walked to the horse tie stake, which was actually a towering and isolated boulder, and the old man told me that this was the place where the celestial immortals tied the pegasus, and there was a legend here.
The sky in Shijiazhuang these days is very powerful, the blue sky and white clouds are particularly enchanting, the old man pointed to the north for me to see, I saw a clear and dangling water, the old man said that it was the Huangbizhuang Reservoir, and today I can see it very clearly.
Against the background of this enchanting sky, the mountains seem to be greener, the water seems to be bluer, and in this beautiful scenery, we seem to have suddenly changed back to youth!
We followed the footsteps of the old man and continued to go up the mountain, because we watched and discussed as we walked, so the three old people reached the South Heavenly Gate at the top of the mountain one step ahead of us.
When we arrived at the South Gate of Heaven, the old man was already waiting for us there, and they asked an old man who was guarding the mountain at the top of the mountain to accompany us around, we were flattered, we did not want to trouble others, but how to be the old man's kindness.
The old man who guarded the mountain led us to open the door of one hall after another and explained to us, including this thousand-year-old tree, the ancient tree once flourished, but then the bark was peeled off to make medicine, so the ancient tree withered and became the shape of today's tree carving, but next to it, its descendants are thriving, and the life of the ancient tree has been extended.
The old man told us about the Jade Emperor Seal, and there seemed to be a person sitting in the middle of the top of the Jade Emperor Seal. Tell us about the Lianxin Bridge, these are the places he knows best, the places he guards with all his heart.
04 Wanxian Cave
Cross the Lianxin Bridge, a small road to the left, and come to the Wanxian Cave, the story about the Wanxian Cave has been told in the previous article, and only the scene inside the cave is mentioned here.
The inside of the Ten Thousand Immortals Cave is very deep, and after walking through one after another, the more you go inside, the cooler it is, but the tide is also getting stronger and stronger. Inside the front section of the wire pulled up to have lighting.
But after passing through the opening of this curtained hole, it was very dark inside, there was no trace of light, we took out our mobile phones as lighting, although the light was slightly bright, we could still see the stalactite stone flowers overhead, they were very beautiful, like corals on the seabed.
The old man has been accompanying us, telling us what happened here, the original cave is not so big, this has been excavated later, and the wet place inside can still seep water.
05 Conclusion
Coming out of the Wanxian Cave, we came to lianxin bridge again, looking at the Huangbizhuang Reservoir in the north, the old man said that the night here is very beautiful, he can see the night view of Zhengding, Pingshan, Luquan and Jingxing on this mountain. When he spoke, he had a satisfied smile on his face. This inner sense of abundance makes me envious.
If there weren't so many "worries" under the mountain, I think I could also stay and stand on this bridge with the old man and enjoy the brilliant night and the bright mountain stars and moon that he described to me. The old people have no sustenance, this mountain is their sustenance, they have no remuneration to guard this "faith" in their hearts day and night, so that I, a person from the impetuous society, have to admire!
A few old men left us for lunch on the mountain, and we thanked us for our kindness and hurried down the mountain when it was cold. The wildflowers beside the road grow tenaciously in this seemingly soilless rock, but they still bloom with enthusiasm, just like these old people, who stubbornly adhere to their faith and live in this mountain full of mission.
Perhaps, on a certain summer night, I also came to this mountain, not only to see the summer night scenery described by the old man, but also to experience the calm and calm of this summer night in the mountain.
