On April 26, the "Pre-qualification Announcement for the Construction of the New Shenyang-Baihe High-Speed Railway Sbln-tj-2~5 and SBJL-TJ-2~8 Bid Sections" was officially released.

The Shenbai high-speed railway is a new project planned by the State Railway Group in 2020. The project is expected to officially start construction in June, with a construction period of 4.5 years, and be completed in September 2025.

The new Shenyang-Baihe railway is located in the eastern part of Liaoning Province and the southern part of Jilin Province in the northeast region of China, passing through six prefecture-level administrative districts along the route, including Shenyang City, Fushun City, Tonghua City, Baishan City, Yanbian Autonomous Prefecture and Changbaishan Management Committee.
