Before the age of one, the baby grows and develops very quickly, basically three or five days have changes, from lying on the stomach to look up, to eating hands and feet, turning over, sitting, climbing, standing, parents are often surprised by the baby's "unexpected performance".
What are the rules of the baby's big motor development before the age of one year, what motor skills do babies need to have in different months of age, and how to help the baby train to unlock it? It is necessary for new parents to learn.

In the neonatal period, the baby is lying on his stomach on the bed, and the baby can already get his head off the bed, but the time is short, often only a few seconds, and then the baby's head will fall heavily on the bed. This is the baby's earliest exploration of "looking up" and the first exercise of the neck and back muscles.
Suggestion: The baby in the confinement can properly let the baby lie on his stomach, which helps to relieve the discomfort of the abdomen such as intestinal colic, and also helps to exercise the head; but it needs to be reminded: do not lie prone for a long time, the baby at this stage does not have the ability to turn his head on his own, once the head falls, suffocating the mouth and nose, it is very dangerous.
At three months, when the baby is lying on his stomach, he will naturally raise his head high, and even form a right angle with the bed, but the vertical head is still not long, and there will be obvious shaking.
Suggestion: At this stage, the baby is trained to look up, and she can put her favorite toy in front of the baby to attract the baby to look up; when looking up, the neck muscles and back muscles will be fully exercised to lay a good foundation for the subsequent sitting posture exercises.
At four months, the baby's ability to look up is further improved, and the head can be kept for a long time without shaking, and the head and the bed can be kept at right angles, and the baby's field of vision will be wider.
Recommendation: Although the baby can look up for a long time at this stage, it is not recommended to let the baby look up for a long time or frequently, otherwise it will not only make the baby feel very tired, but also make the baby lose interest in looking up.
The elderly often say "three flips and six sittings", when the baby is three months old, the baby may have signs of "wanting to turn over", parents may find that the baby's ass baby flipped over and became a prone position.
And with the continuous enhancement of the baby's ability to turn over, you can also gradually complete the transition from the supine position to the prone position, and then to the supine position, which shows that the baby's large movement ability is well developed.
Suggestion: If the baby begins to turn over, it must pay attention to the absolute safety of the baby's surrounding environment, when the baby is placed alone on the bed, in order to avoid the baby turning over and falling to the ground, be sure to have parents watching the baby at any time.
If only the mother is carrying the baby, it is best to put some shelter next to the baby when leaving briefly, or use the bed circumference or put the baby on his own cot.
The baby sits independently at about six months, but can be trained in advance.
Generally when the baby is four months old, you can complete the pull sitting very well, and when you train to sit back at five months, you can let the baby sit well by the quilt or cushion, and after six months, the baby can basically sit alone for a period of time, which is the normal development process of the baby learning to sit.
However, the specific time to learn to sit alone also varies from person to person, some babies develop late, and they will not sit alone at six months, which is also normal, and parents should not be too anxious.
ps: Training methods for babies to learn to sit:
(1) When the baby is four months old, he should first exercise "pull sitting".
Parents can let the baby lie flat on the bed, put both thumbs in the palm of the baby's palm, the baby will hold it very hard, then gently lift the baby forward, the baby will sit up. You can train 2-3 times a day for about 1-2 minutes each time.
Reminder: Train your baby to sit, depending on your baby's situation. If the baby can't lift the head well, parents should not be in a hurry, and must not use too much force to pull up the baby, so as not to cause damage to the baby's bones.
If your baby can't finish sitting, you can also hold your baby's shoulders and exercise to make your baby sit upright.
(2) When the baby is five months old, the "sitting" exercise can be performed.
Place your baby on the couch or bed, place a soft cushion on the back, and place your baby in such a way that the upper body is at a certain angle to the sofa plane or bed surface. It is possible to train 2-3 times a day for 1-2 minutes each time.
Note: If the baby sits back, the head shake is very intense, it is generally not recommended to continue to train the baby in sitting, you can first let the baby lie down and look up, and wait until the neck and back muscles develop to a certain extent, the baby will have no problem sitting.
(3) After six months, the baby can gradually learn to "sit alone".
At the beginning, you can first sit on the basis of sitting, put your favorite toy in front of the baby, when the baby's attention is attracted, and then gradually remove the cushion behind the baby, after many training, the baby will sit alone very well. It is possible to train 2-3 times a day for 1-2 minutes a day.
Note: When the baby is first allowed to sit alone, the baby will generally fall back and forth, left and right, be sure to pay attention to protect the baby, put the baby in an absolutely safe environment, do not have dangerous items around, so as not to bump the baby.
Many parents think that "the baby learns to walk early is a smart performance", so they always want the baby to learn to walk very early. Such an idea is unscientific, the baby's development will be a natural law, and if the parents are "pulling seedlings to promote growth", it is naturally not conducive to the normal and healthy development of the baby.
Learning to stand is the basis for learning to walk, under normal circumstances, the baby will complete the support standing around ten months, then the parents can guide the baby from the support to stand, and gradually transition to stand alone.
When standing, the baby's bone development requirements are very high, and the bones and feet need to be able to bear the weight of the whole body in order to complete the standing action.
Recommendation: do not let the baby learn to stand and walk prematurely, too early standing will hurt the baby's bones, affect the development; when the baby learns to stand, parents should pay attention to supplementing the baby with sufficient calcium, take the baby to outdoor activities, properly bask in the sun to synthesize sufficient vitamin D, promote calcium absorption, and then promote bone development.
The above is the basic development of the baby before the age of one, the big motor ability, from learning to look up to turn over, and then to sitting alone and standing and walking, of course, this is also the most basic ability that everyone needs to unlock in the process of growth, and parents should do a good job of "auxiliary role" in this process, through the right way, guide the baby to quickly unlock these abilities.
These basic movements, your baby learned for several months? What are some of the better exercise methods you have, come and leave a message.
