Chenzhou is one of the prefecture-level cities under the jurisdiction of Hunan Province, also known as "Fucheng" and "Lincheng", located in southern China, southeast of Hunan Province, located in the Nanling Mountains and Luoxiao Mountains, the Yangtze River system and the Pearl River system of the diversion zone. Huang Kecheng (October 1, 1902 – December 28, 1986) was born on October 1, 1902 to a poor peasant family in Yongxing County, Hunan Province. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1925. In 1926, he participated in the Northern Expedition. In 1928, he participated in leading the Yongxing Nianguan Rebellion during the Shonan Uprising, and led his troops to accompany Zhu De and Chen Yi to Jinggangshan. He once served as the commander of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army, the political commissar of the division, the director of the military political department, and the acting director of the political department of the Third Red Army. At the Lushan Conference in 1959, together with Peng Dehuai and others, they were mistakenly designated as "anti-party groups." He was brutally persecuted during the Cultural Revolution. In December 1978, he was rehabilitated. He died on December 28, 1986, at the age of 84.

Zeng Xisheng (1904-1968), formerly known as Zeng Mian, was a revolutionary and politician who successively served as deputy chief of staff of the Jinji-Hebei Luyu Field Army, political commissar of the 7th Division of the Shandong Field Army, director of the Kuomintang-ruled area work department of the East China Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, deputy chief of staff of the Second Field Army and commander of the Western Henan Military Region. He is also the secretary of the CPC Northern Anhui District Committee and the commander and political commissar of the Anhui Northern Military Region of the Third Field Army. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he served as the secretary of the Cpc Northern Anhui District Committee, the secretary and first secretary of the Anhui Provincial CPC Committee, the chairman of the Anhui Provincial People's Government, the first secretary of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, the second secretary of the East China Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, and the secretary of the Secretariat of the Southwest Bureau of the CPC Central Committee.

Zeng Zhongsheng (1900-1935), formerly known as Zeng Zhongsheng, was a military strategist from Zixing City, Hunan Province. In June 1926, he participated in the Northern Expedition and served as the chief of the organization section of the Former Enemy General Headquarters of the Eighth Army of the National Revolutionary Army. He was one of the 36 military scientists of the Republic who began his military career earlier and was one of the richest military treatises. He wrote many military works, such as "Key Points for Fighting with the Sichuan Army," "Essentials for Guerrilla Warfare," and "Essentials for Fighting against the "Suppression of the Red Army," which enriched and developed Mao Zedong's military thinking.

Deng Hua (28 April 1910 – 3 July 1980) was a native of Chenxian County, Hunan. He joined the Communist Party of China in March 1927. During his revolutionary career, he successively served as party representative, regimental political commissar and division political commissar of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army Company, commander of the Eighth Route Army Military Sub-district and political commissar and brigade political commissar, deputy commander of northeast security and commander of the Shenyang Garrison, commander of the Liaoji Military Region, commander of the column, commander of the army, and commander of the corps. He participated in the Gutian Conference, the Long March, the Shonan Uprising, the Battle of Pingxingguan, the Battle of Hundred Regiments, the Liaoshen Campaign, the Pingjin Campaign, the Xianggan Campaign, the Guangdong Campaign, etc., and organized and commanded the Battle of Hainan Island.

Xiao Ke (July 14, 1907 – October 24, 2008), formerly known as Wuyi(武毅), was a Chinese poet. Kezhong, a native of Tiancun, a small street in Jiahe Pantou, Hunan, graduated from the fourth phase of the Whampoa Military Academy. In 1925, Xiao Ke threw himself into the Army and participated in the Northern Expedition, the Nanchang Uprising, the Jinggangshan Struggle and the Long March, successively serving as a company commander, battalion commander, regimental commander, division commander, army commander, commander of the Red Sixth Army, and deputy commander-in-chief of the Red Second Front. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, he served as deputy commander of the 120th Division of the Eighth Route Army, commander of the Jirecha Advancing Army, and deputy commander of the Jin-Cha-Ji Military Region. During the Liberation War, he served as commander of the Jichareliao Military Region, deputy commander of the North China Military Region, vice president of the North China Military and Political University, and chief of staff of the Fourth Field Army. After the liberation of the whole country, he served as the director of the Military Training Department, the director of the Training Directorate, the vice minister of national defense, the president of the Military and Political University, the dean and political commissar of the Military Academy, the vice chairman of the Fourth National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the eighth central committee member of the Communist Party of China, the tenth alternate central committee member, the eleventh central committee member, and the twelfth central advisory committee standing committee member. In 1955, he was awarded the rank of general and the Order of August 1st Class, the Order of Independence and Freedom first class, and the Liberation Medal first class.

Tang Tianji (October 22, 1904 – February 20, 1989), a native of Anren County, Hunan Province, joined the Communist Youth League of China in 1925 and entered the Whampoa Military Academy in the same year. In 1926, he became a member of the Communist Party of China and participated in the Northern Expedition, the Nanchang Uprising, the Shonan Uprising, the Jinggangshan Struggle and the Long March. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, he served as a guerrilla commander in the Jinyu Border Region and a commander of the Fourth Military Subdistrict of the Taiyue Military Region. During the Liberation War, he served as deputy political commissar of the First Corps of the Northeast Field Army and director of the Changchun Military Control Commission. After 1949, he successively served as the commander of the Hunan Provincial Military Region and the deputy director of the General Logistics Department. In 1955, he was awarded the rank of lieutenant general and the Order of August 1st Class, the Order of Independence and Freedom of the First Class, and the Liberation Medal of the First Class. He is a member of the Second and Third National Committees of the Chinese Political Consultative Conference, a member of the Fourth Standing Committee, a deputy to the Fourth National People's Congress, a member of the Standing Committee of the Fifth National People's Congress, and a deputy to the Seventh National Congress of the Communist Party of China. At the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, he was elected as a standing member of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection. He died in Beijing on February 20, 1989.

Li Tao (1905.9.4 – 1970.12.20) was a founding general of the People's Republic of China. Four groups of people from Xinpo Village, Yanshou Yao Nationality Township, Rucheng County, Hunan Province. He joined the patriotic student movement in 1925 and joined the Communist Party of China in 1926. During his revolutionary career, he successively served as captain, battalion party representative, brigade political instructor, detachment political commissar, column political commissar, division political commissar, sub-bureau chief, section chief, bureau political commissar, column commander, director of the political department, vice chairman of the military and political committee, division chief, political instructor, secretary general, bureau chief, and minister, and participated in the Autumn Harvest Uprising, the first anti-"encirclement and suppression" operation in the Central Soviet Region, the Battle of Nanxiong Shuikou, the Long March, the Eastern Crusade, and other combat battles. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Li Tao successively served as director of the Operations Department of the Central Military Commission and director of the 1st Bureau, president of the Engineering School of the People's Revolutionary Military Commission, director of the Technical Department of the Central Military Commission, director of the Third Department of the General Staff Department, and political commissar. He was awarded the rank of General in 1955. He died in Guangzhou on December 20, 1970 at the age of 65.

Deng Zhongxia (October 5, 1894 – September 21, 1933), male, Han Chinese, also known as Deng Kang, was a native of Yizhang County, Hunan Province. He is a member of the Second and Fifth Central Committees of the Communist Party of China, an alternate member of the Third and Sixth Central Committees, and an alternate member of the Provisional Political Bureau of the Central Committee. Marxist theoretician, leader of the workers' movement. In 1915, he studied at the Hunan Higher Normal School of Literature and History in Changsha. In 1917, he entered peking university to study Chinese literature. In October 1920, he joined the early communist organization in Beijing. In 1923, he participated in the founding of Shanghai University and became provost. After the establishment of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions in 1925, he served as secretary general and propaganda minister, and participated in the organization and leadership of the provincial and Hong Kong strikes. After the defeat of the Great Revolution, he participated in the Eighty-Seventh Congress of the Party and was elected as an alternate member of the Provisional Politburo of the Central Committee. In 1928, he went to Moscow and served as the representative of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions in the Red Workers' International. After returning to China in 1930, he was appointed as a representative of the Central Committee to go to the xiang'e-western base area, and served as the secretary of the Xiang'e-Exi Special Committee, the political commissar of the Red 2nd Army (later changed to the Red 3rd Army), the secretary of the Committee of Former Enemies, and the member of the Central Revolutionary Military Commission. In 1932, he went to Shanghai to serve as the director of the National Red Masonic Association and the secretary of the party group. He was arrested in May 1933. On September 21, 1933, he shouted the slogan "Long live the Communist Party of China" and walked to the execution ground with his head held high.

Ouyang Yi (1910-2005), a native of Yizhang County, Hunan Province. Outstanding member of the Communist Party of China, tried and tested loyal communist fighter, proletarian revolutionary, outstanding political worker of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and senior general of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. In 1955, he was awarded the rank of lieutenant general and was awarded the Order of August 1st Class, the Order of Independence and Freedom of the First Class, and the Liberation Medal of the First Class. In 1988, he was awarded the Medal of Merit of the Red Star, First Class.

Xiao Xinhuai (1907-1980), formerly known as Xiao Xianhuai, also known as Xiao Rongxin. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, he served as the director of the Training Department of the Fourth Column of the Shanxi Decisive Death Squad, the commander of the Independent Second Detachment of the 120th Division of the Eighth Route Army, the chief of staff of the Tenth Military Subdistrict of the Jin-Cha-Ji Military Region, and the chief of staff of the Third Military Subdistrict. During the Liberation War, he served as the commander of the Independent Second Brigade of the Jin-Cha-Ji Military Region, the commander of the Independent Seventh Brigade, the deputy commander and chief of staff of the Sixth Column of the Jin-Cha-Ji Military Region, and the commander of the Sixty-sixth Army of the Twentieth Corps. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he served as the commander of the Chinese Volunteer Army and the commander of the Shanxi Provincial Military Region. He was awarded the rank of lieutenant general in 1955. He is a member of the Fourth and Fifth National Committees of the Chinese Political Consultative Conference.
