Duarte scored two shots at the start, Sabonis scored consecutively, and the Pacers started 4-10. Fox and Turner each hit a three-pointer, then Duarte made another layup and three-pointer, and Craig scored a layup and the Pacers led by 13 points. Hield responded with three points, but Justin scored three points as well. At the end of the quarter, Hield also hit a three-pointer to help the team close the gap, and the Kings fell behind 19-27 in the first quarter.

The Kings trailed by just five points after Holmes 2+1 in the second quarter. After the two sides alternated points, Barnes scored six consecutive points to lead the team to a wave of 8-0 counter-scores. LeVert hit a mid-range shot to stop the bleeding, and then Duarte hit another three-pointer; LeVert scored consecutive points again, and the Pacers again led by seven points. Hield steals and Halliburton pressed the whistle at the end of the quarter to score, and the Kings trailed 43-48 at halftime.

After the E-side re-attacked Sabonis layup and LeVert scored five consecutive points; Fox scored consecutive points in response, Barnes also hit 2+1, while Turner responded with three points and McConnell also scored 2+1 after the Pacers led by 15 points. Barnes made a layup to stop the bleeding, Hield hit a three-pointer, LeVert scored consecutive points and Hield hit another three-pointer, and the Kings trailed 67-74 after the third quarter.

In the fourth quarter, Halliburton came up and hit a three-pointer and then steal a dunk, Ryan scored a layup, Halliburton hit another three-pointer, and the Kings went 11-1 to surpass the three-pointer. Sabonis, Duarte, McConnell and LeVert all scored, and the Pacers responded with a 10-0 run. Barnes scored three points, and Halliburton hit a three-pointer in the final 1.5-pointer after the Kings trailed by just two points! But then both sides hit the iron continuously, and in the last 18 seconds, Fox's equalizing mid-range shot continued to hit the iron, and the Kings competed for the ball once but Halliburton also hit the iron on three points, and the game ended.

LeVert had 22 points and six rebounds, Duarte 15 points, McConnell 18 points and seven rebounds, Turner 12 points, 15 rebounds and five blocks, and Sabonis had 17 points, 10 rebounds and three steals. The Kings' side barnes had 22 points, Fox 17, Halliburton 17 points and three steals, Holmes 11 points and Hield 17 points.
