author:Koken Institute

Hello everyone, here is Ke Xiaoyan, today I will lead you to explore the historical knowledge of Conan ~

Today, let's start with Black Friday

Black friday, as the name suggests, means Black Friday. In the West, Black Friday refers to the Friday of the week that happens to be the 13th of the month. In the West, 13 is an unlucky number, and Jesus died on Friday, so some people in the West believe that the combination of the two leads to belief that something unfortunate will happen that day.

Among Conan, the most famous thing that happened on Black Friday must have been Shuichi Akai's fake death.

In the manga file881 "Passing the Time at Poirot Cafe" (compared to the anime TV885 episode (split version 940 episodes) "Solving puzzles at Poirot Cafe (Part 1)"), in response to Heiji, Toru Amuro and "Shinichi Wada" (later Iori No-self) also talk about some interesting historical events. Let's take a look at them separately

The first event Amuro spoke of was the crucifixion of the famous Jesus. Jesus' 13th disciple, Judas, betrayed Jesus out of greed, causing Jesus to be captured by a group of men brought by the chief priest and elders. Later, on Friday, Jesus was crucified. But, in the end, Jesus was resurrected and ascended to heaven.

The second incident that Amuro told is also a very famous assassination incident , the assassination of President Kennedy. Kennedy' full name was John Fitzgerd Kennedy and he was the 35th president of the United States. During his tenure, politically, he pursued the "New Frontier" policy; economically, he carried out economic reforms; diplomatically, he calmly handled the Cuban Missile Crisis; in short, Kennedy was a very accomplished president. However, just as his career was booming, on Friday, November 22, 1963, at about 12:30 p.m., Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas.

Curiously, however, the killer was shot and killed while being escorted, and as many as 115 witnesses died unnaturally in the 30 years since Kennedy was assassinated. Because the cause is unknown and the motive is unknown, this matter has become an eternal mystery. Some people think that Vice President Lyndon Johnson murdered him, others think that Kennedy wanted to challenge the US economic order and was assassinated, but what is the reason, we probably will never know...

And five years later, in June, his younger brother, presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, was also assassinated, casting another shadow over the Kennedy family...

And the mysterious man sitting on the side, "Jinichi Wada" (Iori No-self), said three ominous things, so let's take a look at them one by one.

The first is the purging of the Knights Templar.

The Knights Templi (Latin: milites templi), also known as the Templical Order, officially known as the "Poor Knights of Christ and Solomon's Templique" (Latin: pauperes commilitones christi templique solomonici), was a Catholic military organization in the French medieval period, one of the three famous Knights. The members were mostly French, known as the "Templars", and featured white robes painted with red crosses. In 1119, the Knights Templar was formally established. In 1129, the Knights Templar, officially supported by the Holy See and with many privileges, rapidly grew in size, power, and wealth, and even developed the earliest banking sector. It was the Templar Order that had great wealth and developed commerce that led to his eventual demise.

In 1291, the Templar Order was defeated by the Mamluk Sultan and retreated to France. In France, they were the king's great creditors, with thousands of castles and great wealth, which aroused the envy and envy of the king and bishops. So King Philip IV of France fabricated the charge of "heresy" to eradicate them. On Friday, October 13, 1307, without warning, almost all members of the Templar Order in France were arrested and restricted from using any property to prevent transfers out of the country. Under brutal torture, the Templar Order pleaded guilty and most of its members were sentenced to burn at the stake. It is also because the Templar Order was killed on Friday 13 that it became one of the origins of "Black Friday".

The second incident that Wada said was the murder of the chancellor by Richard III.

Richard III was the last monarch of the York Dynasty and the Plantagenet Dynasty. In 1483, Edward IV died and Richard III became regent of Edward V. Richard III then arrested Edward V's uncle Anthony Woodville (the second Earl of Reeves, Edward IV's wife's uncle) and other advisers and sent them to Pontfleckburg in Yorkshire, where they were executed for attempting to assassinate the regent. Later, Richard III suspected of murdering the first heir, Edward IV's son Edward V, ascended to the throne. (Richard III was the second in line to the throne.)

Although Richard III had a good political record, it is ironic that he died two years later in the rebellion of Henry VII. And his death not only ended the Red and White Rose Wars that lasted for more than thirty years, but also ended the Plantagenet Dynasty. A new era, the Tudor dynasty began.

However, there is no evidence that the incident occurred on Black Friday, which is presumably used by Iori's classmates to scare Heiji.

And the last incident is also the very famous assassination of Caesar.

Caesar, whose full name was Gaius Julius Caesar, was a prominent military commander and statesman of the late Roman Republic. After conquering Gaul and defeating Pompey, he then combined power and imposed dictatorship. He was hated by the Senate. On Friday, March 15, 44 BC, Caesar was assassinated by members of the Senate led by Brutus at the age of 56. After Caesar's death, Octavian completely ended the republican system and established the Roman Empire.
