【Journalist Profile】 Chu Wenjing, a reporter of Xiaoxiang Morning News, the personal column "Chuchu Looks at the Two Sessions" is a famous column in the report of the Two Sessions of the National People's Congress, and pioneered the creation of the media column "The Mystery of Xiang Cuisine and Taste Solution", which is the first cultural Hunan Cuisine Week live broadcast program in China.
People who have been in the Hunan news industry for a long time may remember the name "Chuchu" to some extent. She is the screen name of Chu Wenjing, a reporter for Xiaoxiang Morning Post, and the one she uses when she runs several columns in the newspaper.
In her 18-year career as a journalist, she has run urban news and current political news, and has also written 24 solar terms; she has been to a funeral home as a mortician, understanding the fulfillment of experience with her heart; and she has written weekend cultural columns, writing the most delicate interpretations of the pulse of the times.
In the weekend column, Chu Chu's column introduction is like this: "It is not suitable for obsessive-compulsive disorder patients who are not suitable to summarize in one sentence." It is true that she often jokes that she is a "deep obsessive-compulsive disorder sufferer", but perhaps the profession of journalist is something that can only be done by paranoia, so in 18 years, she still "does not know what to do, and goes deep".
In 2003, when she first joined Xiaoxiang Morning News and ran city news, Chu Wenjing was still a media recruit, but she had the courage to dare to shine her sword. She tracked down emergencies, investigated the truth of the news, and searched for anti-war veterans on foot, and began to understand the responsibilities of the profession of journalists. In 2004, she took a small boat up the Xiang River to investigate the pollution incident on the ground, and the report alarmed the then Vice Premier Zeng Peiyan and promoted the process of xiang river governance.
When running the current political news, Chu Wenjing strives to explore how the media should better lead the direction and promote social development, and write the meeting report vividly and interestingly. From 2005 to 2009, Chu Wenjing served as the main reporter of the Two Sessions of Hunan Province and The National People's Congress for five consecutive years, and her personality-filled and close-knit personal column "ChuChu Look at the Two Sessions" became a famous column in the reports of the Two Sessions of the National People's Congress.
When running meteorological news, Chu Wenjing studied hard and asked hard, "heaven into the earth". Chu Wenjing was the first journalist to board the hunan artificial rain-increasing plane, and created the column "Chuchu Talking about the Sky", which is loved by the people, and accompanied the public readers for a full decade. In 2015, appointed by the Propaganda Department of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee and the Organization Department of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, Chu Wenjing went to Pailou Town, Zhongfang County, Huaihua City, as an assistant to the mayor. Chu Wenjing's lover is an active officer in the People's Liberation Army who has been stationed in the field for a long time. From love to marriage to having children, the two have been separated for 15 years. As early as 13 years ago, Chu Wenjing met the conditions for joining the army, and there were always relatives and friends who suggested that she go through the formalities of joining the army, "One is to be able to reunite as a family, and the other is to arrange a relaxed and stable job in a big city, which is not better than being a 'news migrant worker' in Changsha." But she always smiled slightly, she always couldn't let go of her journalistic position, couldn't let go of her journalistic pursuits.
Therefore, from the military sister-in-law who lives in two places to the mother who is alone with the baby, Chu Wenjing is always busy with work and housework, after taking the child to write the manuscript, people always say "one pregnancy is stupid for three years", but she always coaxes the child to sleep, while trying to choose a topic, and when the child sleeps, she opens the computer at the bedside to write a manuscript.
At the beginning of 2014, when the provincial two sessions were held, Chu Wenjing had just taken maternity leave to work and took over the task of reporting on the two sessions of the province, she asked her parents to come to Changsha and go to the hotel where the deputies were stationed for an interview, so she asked her parents to wait near the hotel with her unanheated daughter, and every two hours of work, she went downstairs to feed her daughter once.
Four years ago, Chu Wenjing was running the news while studying for a master's degree in Hunan University, and every weekend she had to go to class, and when no one took the baby, she applied with the teacher and brought the child into the classroom. She sat in the first row of classes, and her daughter sat in the last row to draw quietly. Even the teacher praised the youngest auditor in history for his good manners.
"After 18 years, the fire of my journalistic ideals has not been extinguished. It's not that there is no opportunity to change careers or be promoted, but I still choose to stand on the front line of the news and be a permanent news migrant worker.
