After instigating violence and preaching "Hong Kong independence," he wanted to pat himself on the back and leave

"Bus's Newspaper", "Point News" and many other Hong Kong media news, Hong Kong Yellow Media "Position News" editor-in-chief Zhong Peiquan claimed on Facebook yesterday (6th) night that due to family reasons, he has resigned as editor-in-chief from November 1, and the position is signed by deputy editor-in-chief Lin Shaotong. According to the report, it is reported that Zhong Peiquan's wife is Chen Peimin, former vice president of Apple Daily, who was earlier accused of colluding with foreign forces in violation of Hong Kong's national security law and is being remanded.

According to Hong Kong's "Bus Newspaper" and "Point News", "Position News" was founded in 2014 by former home news founders Choi Tung Ho, Chung Pei-kuen and Yu Jiahui. Position News published an announcement in June that it would temporarily remove all articles published in May this year and would suspend sponsorship. Six directors of the parent company, Yu Jiahui, Chow Tat Chi, Wu Yiyi, Ho Yun Shi, Fang Minsheng and Lian Yizheng, resigned, while the remaining two directors, Cai Donghao and Zhong Peiquan, remained in office. The announcement claimed at the time that "Position News" would continue to operate.

Hong Kong "Point News" said that "Position News" has been repeatedly exposed to spread "fake news" and reprinted articles advocating "Hong Kong independence" and terrorism, which has aroused strong dissatisfaction and protests from Hong Kong citizens, calling for thorough investigation and severe punishment.

According to Hong Kong "Orange News" and other Hong Kong media, in May this year, "Position News" openly published an incitement article, in which it threatened that "the soil and environment of armed resistance in Northern Ireland are not impossible to occur in Hong Kong", and Hong Kong people have the conditions to "fight a war against the water". After triggering social criticism, the media deleted the article, but Hong Kong legal circles believe that the incitement article has been suspected of violating the Hong Kong national security law, and the "position news" reprinting it may also violate the Hong Kong national security law, even if the deletion of the article does not mean that legal responsibility can be exempted.

Hong Kong media previously reported that the special general meeting of the anti-China chaotic Hong Kong organization "Trade Union Alliance" voted to pass the dissolution motion on October 3. In response, a spokesman for the Hong Kong Security Bureau said that the criminal responsibility for crimes committed by an organization and its members will not be erased by the dissolution of the organization or the resignation of its members. The Police will continue to make every effort to pursue any organisations and persons suspected of violating hong Kong's national security law and other Hong Kong laws.
