Who stole my happiness

When we first met, I had just ended that terrible marriage and vowed never to touch a man again, and he was struggling with the marriage at the time. Met at a mutual friend's wedding feast and ended up being arranged to take his ride back to my city. After more than two hours of driving, he was enthusiastic, humorous, and slippery for the first half, while I was cold, distant, and interested. Maybe I was acting too obviously, he stopped talking and just concentrated on driving, while I closed my eyes and pretended to sleep. As soon as the car entered the city, I thanked him for getting out of the car, thinking that I should never see you again in this life.
