The post of secretary of the party leading group of the Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council has been readjusted recently.

On February 27, 2017, The Paper inquired about the information in the "Office Leadership" column of the official website of the Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council and noted that Song Dahan, who had previously served as director of the Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council and secretary of the party group, no longer held the position of party secretary, and this position was taken over by Yuan Shuhong, who was former deputy director of the Legislative Affairs Office and a member of the party group.

According to the official resume, Song Dahan, the current member of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, was born in December 1952 in Dongfeng, Jilin Province, began working in March 1969, joined the Communist Party of China in October 1973, and graduated from a college major in law.

Song Dahan, who served as Peng Zhen's secretary, successively served as director of the Economic Law Office of the Legislative Affairs Commission of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, former deputy director of the Legislative Affairs Bureau of the State Council and member of the party leading group, deputy director of the Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council, deputy secretary of the party leading group, director of the Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council, and secretary of the party leading group. At present, Song Dahan serves as director of the Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council and member of the party leading group.

Yuan Shuhong, who succeeded Song Dahan as secretary of the party group of the Legislative Affairs Office, was born in July 1958 in Shucheng, Anhui Province, began his career in December 1975, joined the Communist Party of China in May 1985, and is a doctoral candidate in constitutional law and administrative law at peking university.

Yuan Shuhong once served as the director of the Law Research Office of the National Academy of Administration, vice president, party committee member and vice president of the China Law Society, member of the party group and deputy director of the Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council and vice president of the China Law Society, and currently serves as the secretary of the party group and deputy director of the Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council.

The Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council is an office that assists the Premier in handling legal work matters, and its predecessor was the Legislative Affairs Bureau of the State Council.

In addition to Song Dahan and Yuan Shuhong, the current leading group of the Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council also includes Gan Zangchun, member of the party leading group, deputy director, and secretary of the party committee of the organ, and Qian Feng, Hu Keming, and Liu Zhuo, members of the party leading group and deputy directors.
