Leung ka-fai has two grossly underrated films: one is "Black Gold" and the other is "Jianghu Emergency". "Black Gold" is a little better, although it failed at the box office due to sensitive themes when it was released, but fortunately, Liang Jiahui's super god performance still made Zhou Chaoxian a well-known classic role. The plot of "Jianghu Emergency" is very simple: it tells the story of the jianghu boss Ren Yinjiu (Liang Jiahui) who consolidates his position by finding an enemy family. If filmed normally, because of the existence of Leung Ka Fai, this will certainly be a very good gangster biography movie; but obviously this is not what director Lin Chaoxian wants, so he put on a very absurd black humor coat for this film: first of all, he neuroticizes the role of Ren Injiu: although he is the social boss in the chest of the city government, Ren Yinjiu's personality is absurd and strange, and secondly, Lin Chaoxian deliberately brainless the plot of the movie, and a Guan Gong xian who does not know the truth and falsity will come out. A moment later, a good and unproven same-sex confession came out. The characters and plot have become abnormal, so the movie has become a bit confused, but in fact, the more absurd it is on the surface, the more it can reflect the true level and connotation of a movie. What kind of roles are the most difficult to play? It is not difficult to play a hero, it all depends on the achievements of the record; it is not difficult to play the bad guy, it all depends on the accumulation of sins. What is really difficult is to make you feel real but can't find a word to summarize the character, like Ren Yinjiu in "Jianghu Rush". Ren Yinjiu has three identities in the movie: he is a decent husband in front of his wife; he is a powerful boss in front of his brothers; and he is an incomprehensible opponent in front of the fiercest enemy. The rare thing about Leung Ka Fai is that he harmoniously unifies these three identities. Ren Yinjiu's role from the beginning to the end has always carried a hint of madness, this madness is not reasonable, but you can not find loopholes, that is because Liang Jiahui grasped the fire of the role to the extreme, he interpreted all the unreasonableness into a natural, every detail of exaggeration or uneasiness as if it is a habit of life accumulated after thirty or forty years. You give me an unknowing role, but I can play him vividly, which only Leung Ka Fai as an actor can do.

The theme that "Jianghu Urgent" wants to express is also very simple: what is jianghu exactly? We have seen too many Hong Kong movies about the jianghu, whether it is the gangsters or the police films, those are actually just the jianghu in our minds, and the jianghu in the real reality is not so. The real jianghu is actually far less exciting and exciting than you think. The film constructs two attitudes towards the jianghu: one is Ah Yu (Zhang Yaoyang), Ah Zhuo (Zeng Zhiwei) and Ah Hu (Peng Jingci), who are heavy on righteousness and emotion but live at the lowest level; the other is Ren Yinjiu and Shi Ye, in their eyes, Zhonghe yi is just a scene but can live at the highest level. Movies always use the simplest words in the absurd to break the undeniable truth, such as Ren Yinjiu's sentence "I have a mistress because I have a wife, just because I have a wife, I want a mistress", and Zhang Yaoyang's confession to Liang Jiahui in the hospital, which simply tells love too thoroughly, the truth is often like this, and the more absurd it seems, the more profound it is.
The more absurd the film, the more it needs to be pondered
Geniuses are often easy to walk ahead of the times and not be understood by the world, "Jianghu Emergency" is like this, until now many people still can't understand this jianghu philosophical film cloaked in black humor. Intuitively, there are two strange places to watch the movie, one is the appearance of Guan Gong's apparition, and the other is the gun that finally aimed at Ren Yinjiu. There are two lines of thought about Guan Gong's interpretation: one is that there is no Guan Gong at all, Ren Yinjiu has died during the gun battle, and the rest are his fictional fantasies; and the other is that Guan Gong exists, but it is certainly not realLy Guan Gong may just be some strange person dressed like Guan Gong. In fact, Guan Gong's intention to really appear in the movie is also to satirize the so-called loyalty on the jianghu, Guan Gong worships every day, but believe it or not is another matter. Then there is who the last gun aimed at Ren Yinjiu is, this is a million possible answers, some people say that it is Ren Yinjiu's wife, some people say that it is Ren Yinjiu's opponent, and some people say that it is Ah Hu who still does not give up, but who is really can only guess.
When Ren Yinjiu hid under the car, in order to convene a meeting of the community, he casually said the four words "Jianghu Emergency", which just became the name of the movie, and everything seemed frivolous and casual but actually reflected the most real essence. Therefore, "Jianghu Emergency" is different from ordinary black humor movies, it is not simply trying to satirize the underworld, nor does it want to deliberately create nonsense to make everyone laugh. Some things are too serious to make people uncomfortable, it is easier to come to some absurd things, as for what you see behind the absurdity, that is your own understanding. It is a pity that "The Jianghu Is in a Hurry", a buried god work.
