Wang Fengxia, secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Pharmacy of Fudan University, died at the age of 57

On December 27, the paper (www.thepaper.cn) learned from the School of Pharmacy of Fudan University that Wang Fengxia, a member of the Communist Party of China and secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Pharmacy of Fudan University, died at the age of 57 on December 25, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. due to ineffective medical treatment. The School of Pharmacy of Fudan University was founded in 1936 as the Department of Pharmacy of the National Shanghai Medical College, and was subsequently renamed the Department of Pharmacy of the National Shanghai Medical College, the School of Pharmacy of the National Shanghai Medical College, the Department of Pharmacy of the First Medical College of Shanghai, and the School of Pharmacy of Shanghai Medical University. In 2000, the former Shanghai Medical University merged with the former Fudan University and was named the School of Pharmacy of Fudan University.

According to the official resume, Wang Fengxia studied medicinal chemistry at Shanghai Medical University from 1983 to 1988, and has worked in the Office of the School of Pharmacy, the Personnel Office of Shanghai Medical University, the Personnel Office of Fudan University, and the Fudan University Press since 1988. In February 2015, Wang Fengxia was appointed as the general secretary and chairman of the board of directors of Shanghai Fudan Logistics Service Development Co., Ltd.

On July 13, 2018, Wang Fengxia succeeded Lu Weiyue, who had served two terms at that time, as the party secretary of the School of Pharmacy of Fudan University.
