On March 1, the fourth plenary meeting of the 15th Provincial Federation of Trade Unions was held. The meeting conveyed and studied the spirit of the important instructions of the Secretariat of the Central Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on the work of the masses, implemented the deployment of the 12th Plenary Session of the 10th Provincial CPC Committee and the 4th Executive Committee Meeting of the 17th ACFTU, summarized the work of the trade union in 2020, and arranged the work tasks in 2021. Wang Puhui, chairman of the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, presided over the meeting and made a speech, and Kou Wujiang, secretary of the party leading group and executive vice chairman of the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, made a work report.

Wang Pointed out that 2021 is the first year to implement the 14th Five-Year Plan and start a new journey of comprehensively building a modern socialist country, and the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. It is crucial to do a good job in this year's work. Trade union organizations at all levels in the province should firmly grasp the fundamental requirement of stressing politics with a clear banner, always adhere to the correct political direction of trade union work, focus on strengthening theoretical armament, and promote the study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era to go deep and down-to-earth; strive to enhance political awareness, and effectively improve the political judgment, political understanding, and political execution of trade union organizations; strive to strengthen ideological and political guidance, unite and lead the masses of workers and staff to unswervingly listen to the party and follow the party. Ensure that the cause of the labor movement always advances along the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics.

Wang Puhui stressed that trade union organizations at all levels in the province should firmly grasp the main line of work of the overall situation of the service center and give full play to the role of the working class as the main force in the new journey of meritorious service. Vigorously carry forward the spirit of labor models, labor spirit, and craftsman spirit, and give full play to the role of labor models and advanced collectives in helping rural revitalization. Actively organize and mobilize employees to make meritorious achievements, unswervingly grasp the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, continue to actively participate in the "six stability" and "six guarantees" work, deeply implement the main force action of the new era of meritorious service, and fully stimulate the innovation and creative vitality hidden in the majority of employees. Accelerate the reform of the construction of the industrial worker team, and provide strong intellectual support, talent guarantee and skill support for paving the way to modernization. It is necessary to firmly grasp the basic responsibility of rights protection services, and continuously enhance the sense of happiness and security of the masses of employees. Shoulder the responsibility of safeguarding rights, fully implement measures to stabilize employment, and thoroughly implement actions to safeguard the rights and interests of employees. Do the service work in detail and in a down-to-earth manner, vigorously promote the integrated construction of the "huizhan home", do the "Internet +" inclusive service of the trade union, normalize the help of urban workers in difficulty, and continue to do a good job in the construction of outdoor workers' love stations and other "ten practical things". Implement the work of maintaining stability in a down-to-earth manner, conscientiously implement the "five resolute" deployment requirements of the ACFTU, and earnestly safeguard the harmony and stability of the workforce and society. We must firmly grasp the powerful driving force of reform and innovation, and strive to open up a new situation in trade union work in the new era. Continue to deepen trade union reform and innovation, continue to strengthen the party building of the trade union system, continue to change the work style, focus on the concepts, strategies, goals, tasks and major measures proposed in the "14th Five-Year Plan", plan well the development plan for the cause of the labor movement and trade union work in our province during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, and grasp the implementation in the spirit of nails, unite and mobilize the staff and workers of the province to be diligent in creation, have the courage to struggle, forge ahead, strive to write a more brilliant chapter in the Central Plains in the new era, and celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party with excellent results.

Kou Wujiang stressed that since last year, trade union organizations at all levels in the province have taken Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the guide, centered on the center and served the overall situation, performed their duties and responsibilities, overcame the impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, and achieved new progress and results in various work. In 2021, we should closely focus on celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party and strive to achieve new results in the ideological and political guidance of employees; closely focus on the "14th Five-Year Plan" plan and the long-term goals and tasks of our province in 2035, and extensively gather the new momentum of employees to make meritorious contributions; closely focus on building a higher level of safety in Henan, and strive to build a new pattern of employee rights protection and stability maintenance; closely focus on improving the quality of life of employees, continue to build a new brand of trade union services; closely focus on grasping the strong foundation at the grass-roots level, and constantly stimulate new impetus for deepening reform Closely centering on the requirements of comprehensively and strictly administering the party, we should strive to open up a new situation of high-quality development of party building in the trade union system.

The meeting adopted the work report made by Comrade Kou Wujiang on behalf of the Provincial General Standing Committee. Tan Binfan, member of the party group of the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions and director of the examination and adjudication committee, made a report on the work of the examination.

The whole committee elected Zhu Wenwen as the vice chairman of the 15th committee of the provincial federation of trade unions (suspended post), and elected Lu Xinlei as a member of the standing committee of the 15th committee. The meeting replaced and added some members of the 15th Committee and the 15th Funding Review Committee.

The meeting adopted the "Resolution of the Henan Provincial Federation of Trade Unions on Conscientiously Studying and Implementing the Spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the Nineteenth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the National Model Workers' Congress, and the Twelfth Plenary Session of the Tenth Provincial CPC Committee and Organizing and Mobilizing the Broad Masses of Workers and Staff members to Make Contributions to the Realization of Henan's "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan" and the Long-term Goals of 2035." Commended the advanced units of trade union work in Henan Province in 2020.
