Zbigniew Brzezinski (March 28, 1928 – May 26, 2017) was a Polish Jewish-American writer, Democrat, national security adviser to former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, and a prominent American geostrategic theorist known for his extreme anti-Sovietism.
