The Exhibition and Academic Seminar of The Calligraphy Works of Wang Zhi'an was held in Beijing

On August 2, the "Heart Journey Majiayao - Exhibition of Calligraphy Works of Wang Zhi'an of the Five Lakes Scattered Wongs" sponsored by the Beijing Haidian District Cultural Development Promotion Center, the Majiayao Cultural Research Association of Gansu Province, and the Majiayao Cultural Research Institute of Northwest University for Nationalities opened in Haidian Cultural Commune.

Wang Zhi'an was born in 1944, studied calligraphy and painting at the age of five, and won the first prize in the National Junior Painting Competition at the age of thirteen. Graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Northwest Normal University, he is now the honorary president of the Majiayao Cultural Research Association of Gansu Province and the dean of the Majiayao Cultural Research Institute of Northwest University for Nationalities. Wang Zhi'an has made achievements in many fields such as cultural research and calligraphy and painting art, especially in the study of Majiayao culture, and has repeatedly interpreted the mystery of Majiayao faience pottery on CCTV, expanding the study of Majiayao culture to philosophy, sociology, ethnology and other fields, so he is known as the first person in Chinese folk research and dissemination of Majiayao culture.

At the exhibition of calligraphy works, Wang Zhian gave a thank you speech.

In 2003, Wang Zhi'an founded the country's first Majiayao Culture Museum, which contains more than 3,000 pieces of faience pottery that he carefully collected. These rich and wonderful ornaments on faience pottery have become the source of inspiration for Wang Zhian's study of ancient culture and the art of calligraphy and painting, and he has created his own distinctive artistic style in the field of calligraphy.

"I am a researcher and disseminator obsessed with Majiayao culture. Therefore, the Majiayao cultural research activities are the source of my calligraphy art plot. Majiayao faience pottery has given me so much inspiration and inspiration about calligraphy. Wang Zhian said.
