Football is round, and sometimes luck plays a part. There are many great players who have not won the Champions League in their careers, such as Buffon, Baggio, Van Nistroy and so on. On the other hand, some players who are not very good have been fortunate to win the Champions League at the right time.

1. Ryan Bertrand (Chelsea)
Bertrand played in only three Champions League matches, making his Champions League debut in the 2012 Champions League final, when he was replaced by Maruda in the second half. He currently plays for Southampton.
2. Jose Bossingwa (Chelsea)
Bosingwa won two Champions League titles at Chelsea in Porto and started in the 2012 Champions League final before moving to Queens Park Rangers in the summer window.
3. Mathieu (Barca)
Mathieu moved to Barca in 2014 and can play as a left-back and centre-back. In the 2015 Champions League final, Mathieu came on as a replacement for Rakitic. The current 36-year-old Mathieu plays for Sporting Portugal.
4. Casilla (Real Madrid)
As a former Real Madrid substitute goalkeeper, Casilla rarely made appearances in the Champions League, but won three Champions League titles with the team, and in January last year, he moved to Leeds United.
5. Jesse (Real Madrid)
Like Casilla, Jesse did not play in the 2016 Champions League final, then joined Paris Saint-Germain, has been on loan for the past few years and currently plays for Sporting Portugal.
6. Alberto Moreno (Liverpool)
