Liverpool right-back Arnold will cover the cost of playing in the local "Arnold" league for around 250 children in his hometown, according to the athletic.
Arnold was born in Liverpool's West Derby district, where there is a "Trent-Alexander-Arnold" league named after Arnold, and about 250 children aged 5-6 in the district's academies will participate in the league, and Arnold will also bear the cost of these children's participation in the coming years.
Former Liverpool academy chief Ian Barrigan (who also discovered Arnold's talent as a child) said in an interview: "We have found that children in some areas do not start footballing early enough, which puts them at a disadvantage compared to children in other regions.
