Yuan Wenhui (1901-1950), ancestral residence of Luzhuangzi (also known as Lujiazhuang) outside the South Gate of Tianjin. Grandfather Yuan Laoxian, brothers and nephews are all bald, symbiotic children and nephews. Yuan Wenhui's father was ranked seventh, named Yuan Guozhang, and had the second son, the eldest son, Yuan Wenhui, and the second son, Yuan Wende (Wende was honest and studious, and was scared to death after the murder of the Wanguo Apartment in 1935).

During the Republic of China period, the leader of the underworld and the traitor, known as the godfather of Tianjin, lived in Luzhuangzi (also known as Lujiazhuang) outside the South Gate of Tianjin. He was born on his feet. In 1926, he joined the Anqing Gang, gathered disciples, and became the leader of the Tianjin Anqing Gang. After the July 7 Incident in 1937, Yuan Wenhui acted as a secret agent of the Japanese gendarmerie, opening gambling games and flower clubs to arrest and persecute Chinese workers on behalf of the enemy. It was suppressed by the people's government in 1950.

Yuan Laoxian, a famous in Luzhuangzi, set up a foot shop pot household in Songdao Street in the Japanese Concession, and the Japanese merchant foreign firms and Chinese shops on the street from Xu Street to Haiguang Temple, all the loading and unloading of goods must be contracted by the Yuan family foot shop. Yuan Laoxian was very martial arts, and he used a special iron shovel, and more than ten of his brothers and nephews formed a hegemon in the area of Luzhuangzi. In 1898, the Yuan family expanded their hegemony, the old seventh Yuan Guozhang went to beicheng Genyi Street to compete for the local foot line, the old seventh was very strong, in the fight with the other side lost his hand and killed people, was arrested by the Qing government, sentenced to charge shandong. It was the year when the Boxer Rebellion in Shandong was rising, and Yuan Guozhang took advantage of the chaos to escape from prison and join the Boxer Rebellion. After the defeat of the Gengzi Boxers, he fled back to Tianjin, and two years later went to Shanxi to join the Qing army, and has never been heard from since. Yuan Wenhui's mother then died, and he and his younger brother Wende were raised by his eighth uncle Yuan Guoxi.

In the early years of the Republic of China, Yuan Laoxian's brothers died one after another, and the Yuan family's foot line gradually declined. The old eighth Yuan Guoxi changed his profession and opened a treasure bureau (casino) in Luzhuangzi, taking advantage of his father's brother's Yu Wei and the favorable conditions of the border with the Japanese concession, the business was very prosperous, so there was no time to take care of Yuan Wenhui's brothers.

Yuan Wen would be rough by nature, not reading or seeking progress, and fighting among neighbors all day long. Rijiu provoked the disgust of his eighth aunt, scolded him, and even did not give him food, causing him to wander all day long in the "three disregards". Yuan Wenhui went to the house of his uncle, whose surname was Sui, and served as an old dao (Huoju Dao) in the Tianhou Palace outside the East Gate.

When Yuan Wenhui was 16 years old, Sui Laodao sent him to a shack as an apprentice. Yuan was in a neat figure and had learned the skill of bracing poles to go to the room in the gate smith, but he wandered into sex, and he was dismissed before he left the teacher, and he was angry that his aunt beat and scolded. He simply did not return to his uncle's house.

In 1925, Yuan Wenhui and Wang Engui, Yin Fengming, Niu Zhanyuan, and others listened to juggling (quyi) at the Qingyun Tea Garden in Nanshi (renamed the Republican Theater after liberation, and now there is no longer any existence), which was suitable for Jiang Ershun's patron to sing "Prostitute Sorrowful Autumn", and the tone was gentle and whirling, but the words and sentences were obscene and vulgar, causing Yuan, Wang and others to shout evil and good, and the strange sound caused the audience of the whole garden to make a big uproar.

At this time, in the upstairs box sat Jiang Ershun's acquaintance Li Qihou, who was the son of Chu Yupu, who was directly subordinate to the overseer at that time. Li was very angry at Yuan and others for calling evil to disturb the singing of his sweetheart, that is, he sent his entourage Ma Ben downstairs to arrest Yuan, Wang, and others and send them to the Military Police Supervision Office. Chu Yupu immediately ordered Li Dasen, director of the Military Police Supervision Department, to execute Yuan and others.

The news broke that Yin Fengming's younger brother Yin Fengshan, Yin Fengshan, who was a small member of the Inspection Office, immediately begged captain Bai Yunsheng for help. Bai Yunsheng, a native of Licheng County, Shandong Province, joined the Qing Gang in his early years, and the gang was the 22nd generation of Jia Haiwei Tongzi Class. He had an uncle, known as Old Lady Sun, who was chu Yupu's elderly man and respected Sun like a father. Bai Yunsheng only had to go to Old Lady Sun to intercede with Chu Yupu, and this method was really effective, and Chu immediately ordered the release of Yuan, Wang, and others. After Yuan Wenhui and Wang Engui were released, they immediately confronted Bai Yunsheng, thanked Bai Gan for his kindness, and asked Bai Yunsheng to join the Qing Gang as a teacher, and Bai immediately agreed.

Yuan Wenhui, Niu Zhanyuan, Wang Engui, Yin Fengming, Yin Fengshan, and others became the first batch of apprentices that Bai Yunsheng received in Tianjin, among which Niu Zhanyuan was older, that is, he was the big apprentice of Kaishanmen, that is, the master brother of Yuan and others. The Xiangtang was held in Bai Yunsheng's house, and Zhang Fengling was invited to be the introducing teacher (Zhang was Bai's disciple), Zhang was a big insider in the manipulation of the Gang Rules and The Xiangtang, and he memorized the words of the Tang Dynasty very well, and later Bai Yunsheng was assisted by Zhang when he received disciples, and Zhang also ate this line of rice. Because there were many disciples in Bai, later Zhang Zaiqing had a colloquial language in the Qing Gang, "Do you understand whether you want to find Zhang Fengling" or not."

Since Bai Yunsheng took in Yuan and other disciples, his reputation was greatly enhanced, and all the large and small places in Tianjin were annoying to worship Bai as a teacher to join the Qing Gang, and for a while the Bai family was in a city. As a result, Bai Yunsheng opened the Qinggang Wharf in Tianjin, and later some people in the military, government, industry, commerce, literature, and art circles, in order to make a splash and find a backer to bully others, a small number of people were forced by life to worship under Bai's door as disciples.

For example, Liu Jingshan, president of the Chamber of Commerce during the fall period, Haiming, the great evil overlord of Muzhuangzi Tianqi Temple, and Liu Xiaowu, the earth emperor of Wuqing County, were all apprentices of Bai Yunsheng. By the late 1930s and early 1940s, when Yuan Wenhui was at the top of his list in Tianjin, Bai Yunsheng actually became the Emperor Taishang of the Tianjin Gang, and was officially called Old Man Bai.

In addition to worshiping Bai Yunsheng as a teacher to join the Qing Gang, Yuan Wenhui recognized two dry fathers in the early 1930s: one was Xie Yutian, a military commander under the warlord Li Jinglin, and the other was Liu Shouyan, the head of the Chinese arrest and investigation team in the Japanese Concession, thus increasing Yuan Wenhui's arrogance.

After the Tongqing Tea Garden on the east side of the north end of Xujie Street in the Japanese Concession, the owner Fang Fang became a "first-class citizen" in the Japanese Concession if he was a lackey when the Japanese army first entered Tianjin. This club is called the entertainment place of the literati and inkers, the sign is to meet the friends of the wen, but in fact, it is a large casino, with chess, cards, poetry, cricket fighting and other entertainment projects, it seems that they belong to cultural entertainment activities, in fact, this is a gambling tool for big losses and big wins.

He extracted "water" from it, and his daily income was quite large. However, the concession authorities, whether japanese or Chinese officials and policemen, did not dare to touch him, and during his prosperous period, Yuan Wenhui had not yet gained power, and Yuan did not dare to offend.

Located on Zhakou Street on the west side of the north end of rujie Street in the Japanese Concession, Liudi is a treasure game that gambles with six kinds of gambling equipment, including sieve treasure, pai nine, money stall, turntable ball, shaker jar treasure and so on. There are many masters here, all of whom have been playing with arms and selling and getting into the money, most of them are from the west of the birthplace of the mix, including Ma Zhangsan, Liu Guixi (the apprentice of Li Jin'ao, the big gangster in the west head), Fang Ming, Guo Maolin (Guo Dajie), Fang Shuen (Fang Da), Xiao Wang Lao (a famous wrestler), and Wang Ping, all of whom are apprentices of Bai Yunsheng, as well as Wang Deshan (the master brother of the big bully Liu Guanghai in the west head) and Li Mingde (the apprentice of Pan Zixin, the manager of the National Hotel). The six places had to give Yuan Wenhui a monthly share of the money.

The Luzhuangzi Bao Bureau is located on a high slope at the junction of the non-concession land of Luzhuangzi and the Japanese Concession. This was run by Yuan Guoxi alone, initially as a brother of the Yuan clan, and later Yuan Wenhui gained power and no one dared to provoke, and the general gang would respect Yuan Ba, so Yuan Babao's bureau worked until his death.

Liu Baozhen Bureau is located at the south entrance of Hua'an Street, the junction of non-concessions and Japanese concessions, Liu Baozhen and Yuan Ba have a good friendship, but they are also Yuan Wenhui's brothers, and Yuan has never invaded Liu.

Yuan Wenhui also took in some apprentices after Bai Yunsheng joined the Green Gang, and first made a small gamble after the new hotel in Xujie Street, the business was not bad, but he was not satisfied. At this time, there was a Su Lanfang (nicknamed Su Bald), who opened a treasure bureau in Xinjinli next to the rich alley at the junction of Japan and France, and the business was quite good. The reason is that it is located at the junction of Japan and France, and all the good gamblers in the French Concession are gambling here.

Yuan had long wanted to get involved, so he immediately sent an apprentice to send a letter to Su, asking Su to give up the treasure bureau to Yuan Gan, and Su was willing to give up the delicious meat. So the day was set to fight, Yuan because of the relationship between Liu Shouyan, the head of the Japanese police, had already made love to Liu, and at that time, the two sides clashed, the Soviet side was defeated, and the Japanese police arrived and arrested the Soviet thugs. After the Sutuo people asked for peace, they were willing to give up the treasure bureau to Yuan - let Yuan be the big treasurer, and Su still presided over the treasure bureau, and Yuan thus won the treasure bureau.

<h1 class= "pgc-h-arrow-right" > smash the airsoft gun field</h1>

In 1934, on the north side of the Shinmei Grand Theater, Sun Baoshan (1), the manager of Shinmei, colluded with the Japanese Ronin to open an air gun farm, which was a casino that gambled on air guns and earned a lot of money every day. Its gambling equipment is a large turntable with 12 genera painted on the wall, turn it up and shoot accurately with an air gun, and the lower table is also painted with 12 genera, and gamblers bet on each door with money, and after the car grabs a certain genus, 1 yuan wins 11 yuan.

Because this casino did not bribe the Japanese police, the patrol leaders instructed Yuan Wenhui to make trouble. Yuan ordered more than a dozen thugs to smash the airsoft gun field. Sun Baoshan found a Japanese ronin and went to the Japanese police station with Yuan Thug to fight a lawsuit, Yuan Thug insisted that he lost money at the air gun field, and the field said that the gun game was not gambling, the police station ordered the suspension of business, released Yuan's thugs, and smashed what was equal to white smashing. The venue was later changed to a Japanese dance hall, and after Japan's surrender in 1945, it was changed to a bar room dedicated to receiving U.S. troops, and business was very prosperous.

<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" > smash the poetry puzzle field</h1>

On the 6th floor of Zhongyuan Company, Fang Ruozhizi (号 Changyi) opened a large gambling hall in the form of guessing poems, and its name was Yiwen Huiyou. There is a large square table, on the table is a variety of poetry idioms, gamblers with high-grade paper cigarettes (three cannons) as a bet (instead of cash), the gambler with alum to write good verses, water bubble words to check, bet how much to win, win and lose a lot of numbers.

The way is dependent on the power of his father, and his mother is Japanese, and he does not pay attention to the Japanese police at all. One day in the winter of 1934, Xu Shupu, the head of the Japanese police, went to the Wheelock to visit the door to talk with Yuan Wen about the poetry puzzle field, and Xu was very angry because of the way to open a casino and not give the Japanese police benefits, Yuan said that he would send someone to smash the poetry puzzle field and give the way a color to see. Yuan called me and Liu Guoan (Yuan Tu) and ordered the two of us to go to the 6th floor of zhongyuan company to smash the poetry puzzle field, and instructed that after smashing one person's top thing, don't mention that Yuan Wen will call to the police station.

The next day we both went to the 6th floor of the Central Plains, the poetry puzzle field was surrounded by thirty or forty people betting, I first separated the crowd with my hands, and when I saw that the money on the table was full of paper cigarettes, I said to the person in charge: "What is this?" Let's do two plates!" By the way, overturn the table. When he saw that he wanted to arrest me, Liu Guoan coldly slapped Fang, and the glasses he was wearing also flew away, and his thugs came up together to besiege the two of us. At this time, the resident Japanese arrest arrived, this patrol called Cai Lianke, is Yuan's apprentice, a look at the two of us, immediately maintained, and told me to go quickly, only called Liu Guoan alone to do the matter, the way also sent a steward to follow, together with the Japanese police station. After interrogation at the police station, Liu Guoan accused him of losing a thousand yuan in the poetry puzzle field, and the top person of the way said that the poetry puzzle was a literary friend, not a gamble, and both sides insisted on their own words, and were all released at night. After Xu Shupu received the news, he went to the Huide and asked Yuan Wenhui to take people to the poetry puzzle field to demonstrate. The next day, Yuan Wen would take Guo Xiaobo, Li Zizhen, Yan Zhongsan and Yue Lao to the 6th floor of Zhongyuan Company.

Although the poetry puzzle field was opened on this day, there were not many gamblers, because it was smashed yesterday and people did not dare to come again. Manner and his thugs were all present. At this time, there was a son of Ding Zhenzhi, he and the way are good friends, he did not measure up to the way, came to Yuan and others, Yuan xiang Yue made a look, Yue Lao grabbed Ding forward, even kicked and beat, Ding had to hold his head and squirm.

Fang saw this scene did not dare to come forward, the next day entrusted Fang Ming (Yuan Shidi), paid tribute to Yuan and talked about the conditions, willing to give Yuan 30 yuan a day, ask Yuan to take care of the safety of the field, Yuan promised to give me and Liu Guoan 5 yuan each after the day, he got 20 yuan alone, and allowed us to eat in the 6th floor restaurant every day, by the way to take care of the poetry puzzle field. At the same time, he also promised to give the Japanese police station Chinese patrol monthly money. This is a type.

In addition, such as the lower courtyard of Miaofeng Mountain (located behind the four bells, it is Xiao Tieleng's treasure bureau); the British business racecourse (there are shareholders of Li Luge, there are Yuan Wenhui's apprentices in the racecourse, and Yuan also raises horses), and the "Huili Ball", they also ask Yuan to be famous to protect the field and give Yuan Yuan money every day.

< h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" > establish a flower club</h1>

The Flower Club was a new type of gambling in the 1930s, and it was divided into old tubes and new tubes when it was founded in Tianjin. The old tube address is in Shinjin, the junction of the Japanese-French Concession, and the new tube address is next to the Komatsu Street Wanguo Apartment. In 1931, Pan Zixin, the manager of the Weiyu Laijin Hotel in Shanghai, and Ren and Pan became friends and planned to open a new type of gambling "flower club" in the French Concession (this kind of gambling was already popular in Jiangnan at that time). After Pan contacted the Bureau of Legal Works, but could not allow it, Pan Sui introduced Ren to the Japanese Concession Hui de to find Yuan Wenhui, and with Yuan's assistance, he opened a business in Xinjinli, called Lao Guan. The cylinder gave Yuan 20 yuan per day, yuan sent Guo Xiaobo, Guo Wenrui, Duan Liu, etc. as the drum guards, each took a share of the money.

In 1934, Shanghainese Huang Guishan (Yuan Tu), Ah Qiao, Ah Gui and others came to Tianjin, and yuan Wenhui also wanted to set up a flower club. Huang Guishan made a latest rickshaw from Shanghai to give to Yuan Wenhui, this car is Hai-style, its carriages, handlebars, fenders are all inlaid with brass, golden yellow, green sesame skin car cover, two foot bells, four headlights on the top and bottom, and two taillights in the back. There are only two such rickshaws in Shanghai, one is taken by Jin Rong, the leader of the Shanghai Youth Gang, and this one is bought by Huang Guishan at a high price to give Xiaojing to Yuan, Yuan was overjoyed at first sight, and even bought new clothes for the driver Li Er to match the new car.

Yuan Wenhui assisted Huang Ethan to set up a flower club next to the Wanguo Apartment on Xiaosong Street, calling it a new tube, and sent Li Zizhen, Cao Yuhe, and Yan Zhongsan as the drum guards, each taking a share of the money, yuan also asked for 20 yuan a day. The new and old tube Yuan took a total of 40 yuan as his family living expenses, and Cao Yuhe sent Lu Zhuangzi to the second wife of Yuan's family every day.

The two flower clubs are casinos open to the Japanese Concession, and their hosts need to have a certain amount of capital deposited in the Zhengjin Bank as a security deposit. For the Japanese police summer people and so on have a large and small portion of the monthly money, so the police leaders also have to temporarily find cheap, Xu Shupu sometimes to the new tube to find Li Zizhen, with a dollar to call Li Daibao, that is to say, to win, after opening the barrel he can take 33 yuan, so the cost of the meeting is quite large.

The Flower Club is bet on 36 doors, including Taiping, Kunshan, Guangming, Zhigao, Zhengshun, Sanhuai, Jiangci, Hanyun, Fusun, Jiuguan, Bide, Yuebao, Huoguan, Hehai, Fengchun, Rongsheng, LuKui, Tianlong, Tianshen, Rishan, Maolin, Qingyuan, Lili, Shangzhao, Contract, Yinsheng, Mingzhu, Jingli, Only, Anshi, Jipin, Yuanji, Wanjin, Yuangui, Pangui, etc.

In the early days of its establishment, there were more southerners in the flower club, especially in the Southern Brothels in the Japanese Concession and Nanshi City, from the bosses to prostitutes, almost every day, and later developed into Tianjin locals, housewives, store managers and workers. Its development is fast and extensive.

One of the reasons is that there are many people who are obligated to run away from the flower club, both men and women, and they use this as a business, visiting shops, households, and brothels every day.

The second reason is that the number of flowers will lose is small, and winning is a large number, a dime can win three yuan triangle, the best flour of that year was only one dollar seven or eight corners a bag, a dime can win two bags of flour, but the more you bet the number is bigger, when you lose more, occasionally win once you are happy to go around the publicity, invisibly do the voluntary publicity of the flower party.

The third reason is that most people talked about superstition at that time, and the 36 doors of the flower club were inseparable from superstition, such as "brightening" that is, dreaming, dreaming of eating crabs at night, and getting up the next day to find people who ran to detain "the river and the sea". If there is a difficult matter in the family and the problem is successfully resolved, it is "peaceful" or "advantageous". In short, everything in a day's life can match these 36 doors.

The fourth reason is that the most victimized by the flower club is the housewife, the vast majority of women in the early years are not able to work in society, men make money that is handed over to their wives, women bear the family life, which shows that wives are in control of money, they can not withstand the persuasion of people who run away from the seal, occasionally try, they do win a lot of money, since then this hook has been hung, and finally lost to sell their belongings, let alone dare to tell their husbands, and as a result, they are forced to throw themselves into rivers and wells and commit suicide. The gambling of the Flower Club harms people widely and the depth of the crime, which can be described as overwhelming.

<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" > casino in Beijing</h1>

Beijing Grand Hostel Casino, the address is outside the front gate of Beijing Dashilar "Pie Week" opposite, Ming Wei Hostel is actually a large casino. The owner here is the Japanese ronin Sanno, who was entrusted by the Beijing secret service to carry out secret service activities under the cover of opening a hostel, and even used the casino income as a secret service activity fund. It was officially opened in early 1936. Sanye was a secret agent who knew nothing about gambling, so he went to Tianjin to visit Yuan Wenhui and ask yuan for help. Unexpectedly, Yuan Wen will not be in Tianjin to escape the murder case of the Wanguo Apartment, and happens to meet Guo Xiaobo and Li Zizhen. Due to the fact that after the Wanguo Apartment incident, the new and old tube flower clubs were ordered by the Japanese Concession authorities to close down at the same time, and Liu Guanghai sued Yuan Wenhui and his henchmen in court, and the pursuit was very tight. Sanye came to Tianjin to find them to help, so Guo and Li immediately followed Sanye to the Beijing Grand Hotel to undertake gambling.

At that time, there were few casinos in Beijing, even if there were small ones, they did not dare to do it blatantly, and it was not safe for gamblers, and the casino of the big hostel was done by the Japanese, and the Beijing police department had nothing to do with it, so the big people in Beijing who were addicted to gambling came to the big hostel to gamble, especially the pedestrians in Liyuan also came here to gamble. After the Japanese occupation of North China in 1937 after the July 7 Incident, the casino was even more prosperous. At this time, Yuan Wenhui had returned to Tianjin to resume his old business and was favored by the Japanese. Guo Xiaodu and Li Zizhen did not dare to enjoy the benefits exclusively, and immediately bought many fine fur jackets from Beikou and brought thousands of yuan in cash to Honor Yuan, thus gaining Yuan's appreciation. However, the good things did not last long, and the Beijing Pseudo-North China Political Committee reported to the Japanese secret service organs that the casino of the grand hostel should be banned in order to ensure public order in Beijing, and the Japanese secret service had no choice but to order the casino to be immediately closed, so Guo Xiaobo and Li Zizhen had to return to Tianjin. Guo made some money and opened a Beiyang Hotel in Shoujie, and Li Zizhen returned to Yuan.

< h1 class= "pgc-h-arrow-right" > widely received disciples</h1>

Yuan Wenhui was born from his birth until 1945, when he was arrested after the surrender of Japan in 1945, according to incomplete statistics, he received many tens of thousands of disciples, including all walks of life, and began to be some tea house guys in the five sub-industries, especially brothel friends and more in charge. When he became famous in Tianjin, the disciples would pick and choose, and it would not be so easy to worship him as a teacher. Among the artists, there are many artists in the music art world, but sometimes he does not collect it himself, but asks his brothers to collect it. For example, two famous cross-talk actors once worshiped Hao Banjin as a teacher. Hao and Li Zizhen were initially friends, and later defected to Yuan Wenhui together. During the Japanese period, he ran the Qunying Theater.

In 1940, Tianjin Nanshi Yanle and Shengping Theater specialized in juggling (quyi), there was a famous cross-talk actor Dai Shaofu, he was a ticket friend to the sea, did not recognize the master and did not vote for a door school, in the Yanle performance was a blockbuster, very praised by the audience, ranked second in the audience, because there is no door master transmission, is taboo by peers. Moreover, there were often "miscellaneous places" to find trouble with Dai, because he did not participate in the Qing Gang to recognize a famous master as a patron, so the Daito people handed Yuan Wenhui a small post (that is, the resume letter of the worship master), and Yuan never agreed, forcing Dai to be unable to do so. Occasionally, one day Yuan went to Yan Le to listen to the play and sat in the upstairs box, Dai saw the opportunity coming, ran to the box to give Yuan a kneeling prostration to confess his teacher, and thus joined the Green Gang, and from then on some small miscellaneous places no longer dared to deceive Dai. That's how artists were forced to rely on these bullies for their lives.

In 1927, the Wushu Society was daxing in Tianjin, and there were 18 more famous public establishments at that time, distributed in various corners. Schools, especially secondary schools, have set up a special martial arts curriculum. The martial arts teacher at Lingdingge Middle School (Provincial No. 1 Middle School) is named Wu Caiyun, who is famous in Tianjin as the head teacher of the lame door. Wu's eldest son was known as Puji Quan (i.e., Pi Quan), and the second son served as a martial arts instructor in Ma Liang's army. He had an apprentice named Lü Xuejian, who played a slingshot with a hundred shots, was as light as a swallow, and could jump over the ridge, Lü began to look down on Wu Caiyun, and after fighting each other, he was subdued by martial arts and considered a master. Wu's most proud disciple is called Zhao Dapeng, nicknamed Zhen nanwa, which means that there is no invincible hand outside the south gate.

Nanguan Old Street outside the South Gate is a bustling market, where fish, vegetables, meat and other cities are located, and residents and employees of businesses here are good at learning martial arts. There are 10 restaurant treasurer Zhao Jinshan, fish market, vegetable market treasurer Du Chengqi, Sun Lianyi, Liu Zhenduo and other people, raised funds to set up the Jinde Martial Arts Club, about zhao Dapeng as a teacher, after the opening of more than 40 students, most of them are the children of the nearby good martial arts. Since Zhao Dapeng was taught by the Jinde Martial Arts Club, Teacher Wu Caiyun often came to guide him, which made the students deeply benefited. And these students were all Yuan Wenhui's right-hand men later, and I was one of them.

After the success of the Northern Expedition in 1928, China's martial arts industry was booming, and the Nanjing government established the Guoshu Museum, with Zhang Zhijiang as the curator. In the autumn of that year, the Nanjing government sent Chu Minyi to Tianjin to preside over the Tianjin Wushu Conference, and the address was set up in Nankai Middle School. At that time, 18 martial arts clubs and all martial arts enthusiasts in Tianjin will gather in the stadium of Nankai Middle School, and heroes from all walks of life will gather together, and the portals will have tai chi, bagua, shape yi, lameness, tongbei and so on. The venue was grand and enthusiastic, and the trainees performed one by one, showing their superb skills. The students of the Jinde Martial Arts Club were well received by the conference and received rewards such as silver shields.

On this day, Yuan Wenhui brought Guo Xiaobo, Li Zizhen, Chen Shaofang, Wang Engui, Yin Fengming and others to visit the scene, and he saw that the Jinde Martial Arts Club from Master Zhao Dapeng to more than 40 students, each of them was excellent in martial arts. He wanted to strengthen his hegemony and had to have these people to help him, and a few days later he took these people to the South Gate to meet Zhao Dapeng at the Jinde Martial Arts Club. After meeting each other, the two sides exchanged friendships, Yuan proposed to vigorously fund the martial arts club, and invited Zhao Dapeng to a banquet at the Nanshi Huibin Building, during which he proposed to introduce Zhao Baibaisheng as a teacher to join the Qing Gang, Yuan as a brother of the Bai Dynasty, and all the students of the Martial Arts Club as Yuan disciples to participate in the 24th generation of the Qing Gang's Zigzag class. Zhao Mankou promised that this transaction was reached so happily, and I joined the Qing Gang in this year by visiting Yuan Wenhui as a teacher. After the ceremony of receiving the disciples, Yuan Wenhui bought Zhao Dapeng new clothes, gave each of the trainees a pair of martial arts fast boots, and gave the martial arts club a new weapon, so that the Jinde Martial Arts Club had a new look.

<h1 class= "pgc-h-arrow-right" > protect the apprentice</h1>

In 1931, Ma Yunsheng, the uncle of Ma Shichang, a disciple of Yuan, was originally an aide-de-camp to Zhang Zongchang, the overseer of Shandong. After Zhang Zongchang's defeat, he fled to Dalian with his four concubines "Mantang", and Tianjin left five concubines "Rich Gui" (Mantang's sister). The concubine had a lot of personal savings, living in Taoshan Street (now Baotou Road) in the Japanese concession, after Zhang Zongchang went to Dalian, the rich and noble were not willing to be lonely, and they relied on Zhang's aide-de-camp Ma Yunsheng, and the two fought fiercely, and Ma also cheated the rich out of a lot of money. Fugui soon dumped Ma Yunsheng and lived with Zhuang Jinke, a former consul in Japan. Ma Yunsheng was indignant in his heart, and finally he bought a bottle of water to find the rich man to take revenge, fortunately, a bottle of water was sprinkled on the rich man, only burned the watch clothes without hurting the skin and flesh, and his disfigurement purpose failed to succeed. After Zhuang Jinke learned of this, he secretly sent the Japanese police station to arrest Ma Yunsheng, and Ma Yunsheng's nephew Ma Shichang, in order to save his uncle, found his master Yuan Wenhui for help. Zhuang Jinke learned that although he was dissatisfied with Yuan, he could not do anything.

In the winter of that year, zhongyuan company found the bomb, and the perpetrator was never missing. Zhuang took the opportunity to secretly inform the Japanese gendarmerie that the bomb case was committed by the Yuan Wenhui clique. At this time, it was rumored that Yuan was going to be arrested, and Yuan's father, Liu Shouyan of the Japanese Police Station, learned of this letter, knowing that someone had framed Yuan, and immediately called Yuan in and asked him to immediately go to the Japanese gendarmerie and surrender himself. Yuan obeyed the instructions to surrender himself to the gendarmerie, but after examination, it was confirmed that it was not Yuan's doing, and because of Liu's dredging, Yuan was soon released.

In November, the rich man knew that Ma Yunsheng was still angry, and he had offended Yuan Wenhui, so he asked Ma Yunsheng to dinner and negotiated the terms to give Ma some money to stop from then on, but Ma not only did not accept the money, but threatened to wait for the opportunity to find Zhuang for revenge. It was the Chinese New Year's Eve of the old calendar, Zhuang Jinke went to the rich and noble family on Taoshan Street to prepare for the New Year, it was getting dark, and suddenly two plainclothes men broke in with pistols, shot several shots at Zhuang's head and chest, and Zhuang was killed on the spot (it was later learned that these two people were members of the Kuomintang Blue Clothing Society, because Zhuang Jinke was an extreme pro-Japanese element). Fugui hurriedly called the police, and after interrogation, Fugui claimed that Ma Yunsheng had threatened to kill Zhuang Jinke to avenge himself a few days ago.

According to the intelligence, the Japanese police went straight to the Ma family, and the unlucky Ma Yunsheng was spending a reunion year with his family, was arrested for some reason, and after interrogation, sent to the Huajie Court, and sentenced to 20 years in prison under the confession of torture. When I was detained in 1936 for the murder of the Apartments of nations, I lived in the same prison as Ma Yunsheng, and he talked to me about the beginning and end of the matter. In the July 7 Incident in 1937, when Yuan Wenhui took the Japanese gendarmes to Xitou Prison to rescue Wang Engui and others (detained because of the Wanguo Apartment case), he also released Ma Yunsheng by the way.

<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" > trafficking in tobacco soil</h1>

In 1932, Du Yuesheng, the leader of the Shanghai Youth Gang, trafficked in Indian tobacco (opium) and transported it to The Taikoo Wharf in Tianjin on a British ship to unload and sell it. Swire Wharf foot line of the head of the king (known as the king of the king), he holds the Swire dock to and from the ship to load and unload goods, the income is very rich. Yuan Wenhui wanted to get involved early, one day led by Yuan's apprentice Li Rongtang (Li that is, the Taikoo dock worker), Yuan took more than 100 thugs to the dock to find the king, ordered him to hand over the dock foot line, and the king how to give up this piece of fat meat easily, the two sides did not speculate, fought a hand-to-hand battle, a knife and gun axe flew together, hurting a lot of people, Li Rongtang had long hated the king, today in front of the master is the time to make meritorious contributions, he is anxious to quickly use double forks (daggers) to stab the king down. As soon as the king saw the head of the people falling to the ground, one by one, he threw the king away and ignored them (later the king transported the small boat from his pro-credit back to his hometown) and knelt down to worship Yuan as a teacher, so Yuan seized the Taigu Wharf foot line, sent Li Rongtang to be responsible for this foot line, and at the same time took hundreds of apprentices. Since then, with The relationship with Shanghai Du Yuesheng on the trafficking of tobacco soil, Du Yuesheng often sent his close trust and three to contact Yuan, Ren is also a famous bully in Shanghai, and later Tianjin Liu Guanghai escaped Yuan's pursuit, ran to Shanghai to get acquainted with Ren, and paid homage to Mr. Ren (the qing gang had originally recognized the teacher, and then wanted to recognize the teacher is called Mr.), Ren zeng took great care of Liu Guanghai, and funded him to flee to Hong Kong.

After Yuan seized the Taigu Wharf, he cleaned up the handles of the large and small docks along the Haihe River, and he monopolized the loading and unloading of goods on the Haihe River.

Huang Gao was an old pro-Japanese element who was chairman of the Political Affairs Committee of the Executive Yuan of the Nanjing Government of the Kuomintang in Beiping in the 1930s. Relying on the convenience of his position, he went from Baotou in the northwest to Tianjin to traffic in tobacco soil, generally unloaded from Tianjin North Railway Station, and transported directly to the Japanese concession by car. When the tobacco truck arrived at the north entrance of Xu Street, it then sent someone to escort the car to de Yi Lou or Leli, Dabei, Xiyou Villa and other hotels, and delivered to each tobacco dealer, and each car had to give 60 yuan to gongji. The income of the tobacco truck alone is hundreds of yuan per day.

<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" > sell fame and reputation</h1>

Yuan Wenhui did some seemingly good deeds in order to sell his reputation, buy people's hearts, and please his neighbors.

Every year, the eighth day of the first month of April in the old calendar is the birthday of the Yaowang King, and there is a Fengwo Temple in the western suburbs of Tianjin, where the Yaowang is enshrined. People in the old society have a very strong idea of superstitious belief in the gods and Buddhas, often when the parents are seriously ill, the children make a wish in front of the gods and Buddhas, and when the parents are cured of their serious illness, they must go to the honeycomb temple to burn incense to return the wish they made, and even make a wish to "bump their heads to the Fengwo Temple one step at a time"; some "roll the bricks" (that is, prostrate their heads on the bricks), and the most sincere wish is like "hanging lamps" (that is, the skin of the flesh under the two arms is strung with wire, and a string of rubber paper lanterns is hung under the bottom, and then two people support the arm). Tianjin city is about 30 miles away from Fengwo Village, in the southwest of Tianjin, if you want to kowtow or hang up the lamp to walk such a long way, people can't stand it, there is a temple called the Great Temple in the middle of Tianjin and Fengwo Village, generally only so far, or even shorter, it depends on my sincerity and physical strength. Yaowang Temple Fair is held for 10 days before and after, these days the temple is surrounded by a sea of people, doing small business to catch the temple fair is very much, the local people use reed grass to weave some small animals to sell to pilgrims with children.

Yuan Wenhui would go to the Fengwo Temple Festival every year on these days, and he spent money to build a large mat every other mile along the way, set up seats for pilgrims to rest, and prepared mung bean soup to drink casually. For many years, as long as there was a temple fair, he prepared it like this, never stopped.

In the old society, it was difficult to earn money, there were many poor people, and there were many people who could not open the pot and had no food on weekdays, let alone the New Year. But people hope that at the end of the year, "Chinese New Year's Eve" will eat a reunion dumpling for the whole family no matter how poor they are. To eat dumplings, you need white noodles, and usually you can't even afford to buy stick noodles, where is the white noodles? Yuan Wenhui will be a man in this regard. Every year before Chinese New Year's Eve, he bought 200 bags of white noodles at the Luzhuangzi rice noodle shop, asked the noodles to spread out for 5 pounds a piece of noodles, he distributed these white noodles to his men, told them to go to the streets near Luzhuangzi on the night before the Chinese New Year's Eve, to inquire which family was too poor to last year, he called the door to give a noodle, this noodle is indeed like sending charcoal in the snow. He did this every year, spending little money while currying favor with the poor people near Luzhuangzi.

On Hua'an Avenue behind the Yuan family house in Luzhuangzi, there is a Limen Office and Xinyi Hall. The office is a religious gate with the theme of quitting smoking and alcohol, and its establishment is based on donations from good men and women every New Year's Festival to maintain its existence. Xinyitang is also the largest Limen Office in Tianjin, and its largest contribution is mainly yuan Wenhui.

Yuan Wenhui also set up the Anti-Japanese National Salvation Army, which sounds like a new thing, but it is true. After the "Nine-Eight" Incident in 1931, the generals under Zhang Zuolin of the former Northeast Army fled into Guanli. Wuhan Qing was originally the commander of the cavalry brigade of the Northeast Army, and after "918", he came to Tianjin with his daughter, who not only rode horses, but also could fight with both hands, and had a good appearance. Since Entering Tianjin, Wuhan Qing was eager to resist Japan and take revenge, and was introduced to Yuan Wenhui. Wu Yi wanted to use Yuan's strength to recruit troops to buy horses to establish the Anti-Japanese National Salvation Army, and Wu still had some personal reserves in his hands.

As soon as Yuan saw this father and daughter, he had another intention, he wanted to recruit some manpower to serve him on the one hand, and on the other hand, he wanted to possess Wu's daughter. Wu and Yuan immediately took the stage, Wuhan Qing recruited troops at Beijing Tianqiao, Yuan recruited troops in Tianjin Nanshi, and as a result, more than 300 people were recruited, and the Anti-Japanese Salvation Army was established, with Wu as commander and Yuan as deputy commander. The team was pulled to Liangxiang for training, and they encountered the Shanxi Shang Zhen army, which shang believed was a group of bandit troops, which were scattered as soon as they made contact, and Wu and Yuan fled back to Tianjin for only half a year. Later, Yuan Jing raped the warrior girl by means of coercion and inducement.

<h1 class= "pgc-h-arrow-right" > act as traitors</h1>

Yuan Wen would recognize the thief as his father, serve Japanese imperialism with all his heart, and be a handy tool for Japan's invasion of China. Before the July 7 Incident, Yuan had already acted as a lackey of Japanese imperialism, and after Japan invaded and occupied Tianjin, he further defected to Japanese imperialism. The heinous crimes committed by Yuan Wenhui during this period are really hard to describe. I will now cite only one of its greatest beings, which is outlined below:

(1) Organize "plainclothes" riots

After the "9/18" incident, Japanese imperialism extended its claws of aggression to North China. Under the personal planning of the Japanese secret agent Kenji Toihara, in November 1931, the traitors Li Jichun, Zhang Bi and others launched a "plainclothes" riot in Tianjin. Yuan Wenhui collected more than a thousand drug-addicted "white-faced guests" and participated in this riotous activity, which seriously disrupted social order and created an excuse for Japanese imperialism to occupy north China.

(2) Establish a traitor organization

In 1935, Yuan Wenhui adhered to the will of the Japanese secret agent Xiao Rixiang, entangled han traitors, Qinggang elements Zhang Xunzhi, and others, and established the "Pu'an Association" with the Qinggang as the core, recruiting some remnants of society, posing as so-called "representatives of public opinion," and often spreading the public opinion of traitors who "demanded autonomy in North China," disturbing the public opinion of the Han traitors, and making a name for Japan's invasion of North China. After the Japanese invaded and occupied Tianjin, they also organized the traitor organization of the "Anqing Taoist Association."

(3) Arrest and murder of laborers

A few years before the outbreak of the "July 7" incident, Yuan Wenhui instigated his minions to lure Zhuang Ding in Nanshi and outside the tunnels and other places, and escorted him to the Japanese barracks of Haiguang Temple to build underground fortifications for Japanese imperialism. Fearing that the laborers would leak the military project, the Japanese secretly killed the laborers and threw them into the river. At that time, there were often floating corpses floating on the Haihe River in Tianjin, and it was these laborers who were brutally killed.

(4) Information for the enemy

Yuan Wenhui's minions were spread to all corners of society, which was an advantageous condition for him to gather intelligence for the Japanese Kou. All hotels, entertainment venues, tobacco houses, casinos, brothels, stations, docks, etc., are all channels for Yuan to collect intelligence, and the aspects involved are also very extensive, such as political dynamics, economic activities, character behavior, and public opinion, all within the scope of collection, and special attention is paid to collecting intelligence on the activities of the Eighth Route Army. Yuan maintained contact with the Japanese Gendarmerie, the Japanese Shigekawa Secret Service, the Japanese Consulate General in Tianjin, the Japanese Garrison, the Japanese Naval Armed Forces, and other organs to provide intelligence.

(5) Selling Chinese workers

After Japan launched the war of aggression against China, because young and middle-aged people in China were conscripted into the army and there was a shortage of labor, they plundered a large number of "Chinese workers" from China. At that time, there was a Daito Company in Fukushima Street (now DoronDo) in the Japanese Concession, which was an organization specializing in recruiting Chinese workers. From the four townships and eight towns in Tianjin to Cangxian and Yanshan in Hebei Province, and Jining and Yanzhou in Shandong Province, The Dadong Company lured a large number of laborers to Tianjin under the pretext of introducing occupations; some were arrested on charges of "eight roads for adultery" and then forcibly escorted to the northeast and Japan. In order to suppress the resistance of the coerced laborers, the Japanese imperialists used the power of Yuan Wenhui to collude with the Dadong Company and sell Chinese workers.

Yuan Wenhui set up an organization called "Huide" in Luzhuangzi, specializing in the sale of Chinese workers. The Huide rented the Nankai Sports Club, temporarily built a few simple houses, and built a wall around it as a temporary accommodation place for Chinese workers to come to Tianjin. Later, the sports club could not accommodate more and more Chinese workers, and Yuan rented several storytelling venues in Nanshi. As soon as the Chinese workers who have been lured or arrested enter the compound of the sports club, they are equivalent to entering the concentration camp, and there are hooligans armed with sharp knives and sticks at the entrance of the courtyard, and the Chinese workers are only allowed to enter, not out. The Chinese workers recruited by Dadong Company are formally paid a "settlement fee" and some advances, which is a little bit of sales money for the Chinese workers, and Yuan Wenhui, a vampire, does not let go. For example, the food and lodging of Chinese workers are completely arranged by Yuan Wenhui, and in the compound of the sports club, there is a restaurant opened by Yuan Wenhui, and only this one must be eaten; Chinese workers take photos to take photos, and Yuan Wenhui will find a photo studio to take pictures on their behalf and fish out of them; Yuan Wenhui also has a gambling board in the courtyard, using the method of "eating fishy" to try his best to squeeze the money in the hands of Chinese workers.

Under the cruel torture of Japanese imperialism, most of the Chinese workers who were deceived and sold died in foreign lands, and Yuan Wenhui's hands were stained with the blood of tens of millions of Chinese workers.

(6) Organize the "Yuan Troops"

Wen'an and Baxian near Tianjin used to be a den of bandits. After the Japanese invaded North China, banditry in this area was still very rampant, and the Japanese army sent troops several times but failed to eliminate them. Later, the secret agent Yoshiko Kawashima (Jin Bihui) suggested to the Japanese authorities that the bandits be surrendered to yuan wenhui under the command of yuan wenhui and reorganized into "Yuan troops", with Yuan Wenhui as the captain of the brigade, with the Japanese Jichuan as an adviser, directly under the command of the Japanese army. This "Yuan unit" often attacked the liberated areas in wen'an and Baxian areas, brutalized the anti-Japanese soldiers and civilians, harassed the townships, fished and fleshed the people, and did all kinds of bad things.

(7) For women

In order to satisfy the bestial desires of their ghost soldiers, the Japanese invaders set up so-called "prostitutes with camps" in the army and instructed the traitors to provide them with Chinese women for the officers and men to play. Yuan Wenhui had many brothels under his command, and he repeatedly forced batches of prostitutes to be sent to the camps of the Japanese invading army. These prostitutes were ravaged by the enemy in every possible way, and the ending was very tragic, and the torture caused many deaths.

(8) Nest bandits sell stolen goods

Yuan Wenhui colluded with some bandits in the counties around Tianjin and tried his best to cover them. For example, the famous bandit leaders Liu Guitang (nicknamed Liu Hei), Liu Fuchen, Liu Xiaowu, etc., often entered the downtown area of Tianjin with a big swing, and there were mansions in the city. The reason why they dared to flaunt the market in this way was because of their relationship with Yuan Wenhui. These bandits robbed and stolen stolen goods, and often sent them to the "escort shops" opened by Yuan Wenhui to be disposed of and shared with each other.

In addition, Yuan Wenhui also committed various crimes such as human trafficking, the occupation of female bridesmaids, the setting up of public courts privately, and the lending of usurious loans (opening "detention shops"), which were really full of evil and could not be blamed.

<h1 class= "pgc-h-arrow-right" >4, Yuan Wenhui and Liu Guanghai's "dog bite dog"</h1>

The bully Liu Guanghai is also a land snake in Tianjin, and he and Yuan Wenhui are enemies of each other and have been fighting each other for more than twenty years. Although both belonged to the An Qing gang, Yuan Wenhui started by relying on the Japanese, while Liu Guanghai was backed by the Kuomintang reactionaries, and both of them had political backers and wanted to overwhelm each other and dominate Tianjin.

Liu Guanghai is a native of Xitou, Tianjin, and in his early years, he and his brother Liu Guangqing made a living selling firewood and grass in the Dajiuju Hutong on Xitou South Avenue. Liu Guanghai was a hooligan, and later worshiped another Anqing gang leader, Wang Wende, a Beijinger, as a teacher, and collected many henchmen and dominated one side.

As far back as 1926, when the Zhilu warlords ruled Tianjin, Liu Guanghai had a verbal altercation with Yuan Wenhui's subordinates Guo Xiaobo and Wang Engui in a brothel in the Japanese Concession, and afterwards the two sides agreed on a date to duel at the Ding Gong Ancestral Hall on South Road. Liu Guanghai looked for his master Wang Wende, yuan Wenhui also looked for his master Bai Yunsheng, and both sides mobilized a large number of thugs to prepare for a big fight and fight to the death. Zhang Fengling, director of the Nanshi Branch of the Military police supervision office, learned of this incident; in order to avoid the internecine killing of the An Qing gang, he dispatched a large number of military policemen to rush to the scene and disperse the brawlers on both sides when the two sides were about to use force. Although this great martial struggle was avoided, the gap between Yuan and Liu was not eliminated.

In 1935, such an incident occurred: there was a prostitute Li Xiaobo in The Zhao Jiayao of The West Head, who was preparing to pick up a prostitute from Qiandezhuang, and he was afraid that things would not go well, so he specially invited Liu Guanghai's general Song Guozhu (nicknamed Song Bald) to go with him. At this time, Liu Guanghai was about to go to the Japanese Concession Wanguo Apartment to do business, Li Xiaobo hired a car, and the three people drove straight to the Wanguo Apartment. At this moment, the "Flower Society" in the Taiping of Penglai Street opened its barrel, Yuan Wenhui's minions filled the streets, and some people recognized Liu Guanghai and Song Guozhu, thinking that they had come to provoke trouble, and immediately reported to Yuan Wenhui. Yuan Wenhui did not ask questions, and immediately became angry, and sent his subordinates Qi Guofu, Guo Xiaobo, Guo Wenrui and many others to fight in the Wanguo Apartment. Liu Guanghai saw that the situation was not good, so he fled through the back door, Song Guozhu was surrounded by groups, and finally he was outnumbered, he was knocked unconscious by the people who came, and he was stabbed in the ribs by Guo Xiaobo, and immediately screamed for his life. After the Japanese Concession police detectives heard the news, on the one hand, they notified the Chinese court to conduct an autopsy, and on the other hand, they tracked down the murderer. Yuan Wenhui's apprentice Li Ziyang was willing to surrender in the name of the japanese concession and was transferred to the Chinese court by the Japanese concession authorities. Liu Guanghai also went to court to accuse Yuan Wen of killing people. After the trial, Liu Guanghaijian did not recognize Li Ziyang as a murderer, and Li Ziyang saw that people's lives were closed to heaven and also retracted his confession to deny that he had killed people. Seeing the complexity of the case, the court decided to detain both the original defendant and the defendant for trial, and prepared to summon Yuan Wenhui to the case.

At this time, the chairman of Hebei Province was Yu Xuezhong, and Yu bu had a division commander, Dong Yingbin, stationed in Yang Liuqing, who was also Wang Wende's apprentice and was a fellow with Liu Guanghai. When Dong heard of this, he went out on bail and supported Liu and Yuan in their lawsuit.

After the bloody case in the Wanguo Apartment, it shook the entire Anqing Gang, and some Leaders of the Green Gang, such as Li Dasen and Wei Ziwen, all came out to mediate for it, and Jin Rong, the leader of the Green Gang in Shanghai, also sent people to Tianjin to mediate in The Central Mediation Office. Yuan Wenhui knew that he was in a bad position, so he was willing to make a big funeral for Song Guozhu and support the family of the deceased. Unexpectedly, If Liu Guanghai did not rely on it, Li Dasen and others would give up. The court repeatedly summoned Yuan Wenhui and finally issued a detention ticket; Yuan saw that things were not good, so he fled to Dalian.

Liu Wenkui, president of the Dalian Lehu Association, is a good friend of Yuan Wenhui, and this time Yuan came to take refuge and was warmly received by Liu. During yuan's residence in Dalian, through Liu Wenkui's introduction, he became acquainted with many Japanese people, which opened the door for him to defect to Japan. It was not until after the outbreak of the "July 7" incident that Yuan Wenhui returned to Tianjin, and soon after Liu Wenkui also came to Tianjin to stay. Through Liu Wenkui's matchmaking, Yuan Wenhui also established relations with the Japanese gendarmerie Cao Changmiao and others, and since then, Yuan has actively surrendered to the wing of Japanese imperialism.

Yuan Wen will return to Tianjin, and Liu Guanghai feels very threatened and hides at home and does not dare to come forward. Later, after mediation, Yuan and Liu met and compensated each other, ostensibly ending up. After that, Liu Guanghai actually dared to go to the Japanese Concession and opened a gambling game at the Oriental Hotel on Zhakou Street. He was not alert to yuan wenhui still plotting against him; soon yuan wenhui colluded with Miao Miao to arrest Liu Guanghai and release him to the Japanese gendarmerie. Unexpectedly, Liu Guanghai escaped from prison and ran to Shanghai.

Liu Guanghai went to Shanghai and wanted to defect to The Leader of the Qing Gang, Jin Rong. A few years ago, Huang wei sent someone to the Tianjin Mediation Office for the murder of Song Guozhu, but Liu did not know how to lift it up and refused, which made Huang's face very ugly, so he expressed coldness to Liu Lai in Shanghai. Liu knew that he was not interested and could not stay in Shanghai, so he took a new wife in Shanghai and went to the mainland.

After Japan surrendered, Yuan Wenhui was arrested and imprisoned, and one day a news suddenly came out of the prison saying: There was a Kuomintang important person who came to see Yuan Wenhui, and soon after, a well-dressed person entered Yuan's cell with his head held high. Yuan Wen would not look at it well, and when he looked at it, his face was flushed with shame. The person who came was None other than Yuan's sworn enemy, Liu Guanghai. At that time, Liu was a senator of Tianjin Municipality and a deputy to the puppet National Congress, and it was no wonder that he was high on his toes and full of vigor. After Liu Guanghai visited the prison, Yuan Wen would tell people that this was the most embarrassing thing in his life.

After the surrender of Japan in august 15, Yuan Wenhui knew that his patron had fallen and it was difficult to escape justice, so he hid at home every day and did not dare to act rashly. One day, when Yuan was out on the road, he met Gao Yupu, a subordinate of Liu Guanghai, and Gao sent Yuan to the police station in order to avenge Liu Guanghai. Yuan Wenhui's family members went around entrusting people to rescue him, while his disciples wrote threatening letters to the police station, threatening to take last resorts if they were not released. Li Hanyuan, the chief of the police station, believed that the case was serious and inconvenient for a long time, and immediately sent a large number of police officers to guard along the way and send Yuan Wenhui to the court for trial. The Kuomintang court also held that this case was not trivial, and when it was arraigned, it was afraid of changes in the escort process, so the judge had to go to prison to try it himself. Although Yuan Wenhui was imprisoned, his prestige did not fall.

At that time, some important traitors, such as the pseudo-mayor Wen Shizhen, the pseudo-financial bureau chief Li Pengtu, the pseudo-education bureau chief He Qingyuan, the pseudo-mayor Zhou Diping, the head of the secret service Xu Shuqiang, the foreign minister of the Wang puppet regime Xu Liang, and about forty other people were all detained in the second male prison, and Yuan Wenhui was also detained in the same prison.

These imprisoned traitors, in the past, lived a well-to-do life, were comfortable and accustomed, and once they were imprisoned, they felt trapped and endured. At that time, the prison warden Zhu Jiesan was a good friend and old colleague of Li Pengtu, so Li went out to ask the warden for improvement. Zhu Jiesan said that the male sub-supervisor still had several houses to live in, but due to its disrepair and dilapidation, it needed to be reported to the superior for funding for repairs, and it could not be solved in a short period of time. Upon hearing this, the traitors all expressed their willingness to donate money for repairs, and each pledged 50,000 yuan each on the spot. In this way, some rooms were repaired, painted and painted, like a villa, three or five people lived in one room, and at the same time, the family sent wire beds, satin bedding, blankets and other things. In the past, the meals of the traitors were mostly sent by their families every day, which was very inconvenient, and Zhu Jiesan decided to let the gathering into a restaurant set up a small stove from the male sub-supervisor, and chicken, duck, fish and meat every day. Some of the traitors read books in prison, some write, some play chess, leisurely, and can also receive their families at will. This is the portrayal of the life of the traitors in the Kuomintang prison.

Yuan Wenhui was imprisoned in a Kuomintang prison for more than three years, and it can be said that not even a single hair was touched.

After the establishment of the Tianjin People's Government, the Tianjin People's Court was also established one after another, with Wang Xiaoyi as the first president. As soon as Wang Xiao took office, he ordered Yuan Wenhui to be taken back to Tianjin and began to reopen the case.

On December 21, 1950, after repeated investigations and evidence collection, the Tianjin People's Court sentenced Yuan Wenhui to death for the crime of adultery, and all property was confiscated except for the living expenses of the family members.

The yuan case was heard by the president Wang Xiaoyi, and the judge was Liu Yunfeng.

After the verdict was issued, the Supreme Court approved the decision to execute Yuan Wenhui on the morning of December 25, 1950. At that time, Comrade Huang Jing, who was the mayor of Tianjin, made the following instructions:

"The death penalty (the offender has many henchmen and should be closely guarded to avoid accidents)!" How does Guo Wenrui deal with it? Sentencing should be made expeditiously so that they can be dealt with together. ”

On the morning of December 25, 1950, the sky was overcast, and the front of the Tianjin court was crowded with people, and the queue was tens of meters long. The prison car drove out of the court, and Yuan Wenhui sat in the car, his eyes red and full of murderous anger.

At exactly 10:00 a.m., the prison car arrived at the Xiaowangzhuang execution site, and a gunshot from the judicial police ended Yuan Wenhui's 49-year-old life.

On the day yuan Wenhui was executed, the Tianjin People's Court issued a notice in the streets and alleys of Tianjin City under the banner (Fa Zi No. 16):

The traitor Yuan Wenhui, born a rogue, is the leader of the city's youth gang and a famous bully traitor. In 1935, the battle gathered a crowd to fight and killed the citizen Song Guozhu. After fleeing to Dalian, he colluded with the Japanese of the Toihara clan, that is, organized a "plainclothes team" in Tianjin to disrupt social order and attempt to create an excuse for the Japanese to invade China.

After the "July 7" incident, he even more brazenly acted as a secret agent of the Japanese Kou gendarmerie. According to the situation, the disciples were gathered and set up a company to shelter, arrest, and sell Chinese workers. Even more abusive and withholding food, many Chinese workers died of hunger and cold. He also colluded with Ri Te Miao and others to openly kill more than 10 citizens, including Zhang Yaoshan. Under the instruction of the Japanese Kou, Yuba County organized the "Yuan Troops" and personally served as commanders to attack our liberated areas and persecute the anti-Japanese soldiers and people.

The above facts are only one of the crimes of Yuan Rebellion, and there are countless criminal facts in the city that he extorted, raped women, and oppressed the masses, and the citizens all hated them with their teeth. At the trial, Yuan Wei repeatedly denied it, but the people hated it and filed complaints one after another, demanding that Yuan be severely punished. Moreover, after this court investigates the seriousness of the defendant's crime, such a traitorous bully who betrays the motherland, colludes with the Japanese, and mutilates the people is indeed a heinous crime, and if he has more than enough to die, he shall be sentenced to capital punishment in accordance with article 7 of the "Common Program".

With the approval of the Supreme People's Court, on December 25, 1950, Yuan Qiangwenhui was supervised, his body was verified, he was tied up to the execution ground, and he was executed by shooting! This cloth.

On December 25, 1950, Yuan Wenhui, a giant of Jinmen, was executed by the Tianjin Municipal People's Government according to law. When the broad masses of the people applauded the demolition of this bully, no one expected that Yuan Wenhui, who had been executed, would still "stir up trouble" and actually lead to the incident of "burying Yuan Wenhui thickly."

This incident was after Yuan Wenhui was executed, his relatives, friends, and minions openly held a solemn funeral for him, purchasing valuable coffins, excessive practices, funeral valuable clothes, etc., and the funeral procession blew and beat, crossing the city, and the funeral cost 3 million yuan (old currency). In the form of public mourning and street markets, open hostility and demonstrations against the people's government's suppression of counter-revolutionary movements were carried out.

The incident of the "thick burial of Yuan Wenhui" reflects that the district party committee's usual work is not in-depth enough, it feels that "people are dead, there is nothing left", and it fails to pay enough attention to stop it and report it in a timely manner, resulting in great dissatisfaction and ideological confusion among the masses. This incident sounded the alarm for the suppression of the counter-revolutionary movement in Tianjin. In 1951, the Secretariat of the Tianjin Municipal Party Committee informed the party and government organs at all levels, enterprises and institutions in the city of this incident, and strengthened the inspection and supervision of the positions of party members and the masses.
