On the afternoon of August 23, Ma Zhixiang, deputy secretary of the county party committee and county governor of the county people's government, presided over the county mayor's office meeting in Hongyan Town, studied and solved the practical difficulties and problems in the current work with Hongyan Town, and jointly planned the future development direction and next work measures.
The meeting pointed out that in recent years, Hongyan Town has closely focused on the established development strategy and the work goals formulated, adhered to the general tone of seeking progress in a stable manner, persisted in seeking truth from facts, cohesiveness, and overcome difficulties, steadily enhanced the township economy, markedly changed the appearance of townships and towns, achieved remarkable results in key work, comprehensively improved comprehensive management, vigorously developed social undertakings, and successfully completed various indicators and tasks of economic and social development. In view of the difficulties and challenges facing the current development, Hongyan Town should continue to change its thinking and style, face the problems head-on, grasp the work in detail, earnestly solve the practical difficult problems, and complete all work efficiently and pragmatically.
The meeting demanded: First, we must grasp the key point of a good foundation for agriculture. Hongyan Town should pay attention to industrial introduction and planning, make full use of the advantages of high-quality arable land resources, strive to build a vegetable factory seedling center in Western Yunnan with Baili Spring Dawn as the focus, and accelerate the development of modern agricultural industries and promote the prosperity of rural industries through the implementation of projects such as strong agricultural towns and "one town, one industry, one village and one product". Second, it is necessary to give play to and use the advantages of location. Hongyan Town should base itself on the unique location advantage of being the "North Gate" of Midu County, and in accordance with the development plan of the state party committee and the state government for the "combination of agriculture and tourism" in Midu County, scientifically plan, do a good job in ecological protection and rural style improvement, grasp the good opportunity of infrastructure construction, build a demonstration area for rural tourism, and promote the comprehensive upgrading of regional industries. Third, it is necessary to protect and develop cultural resources. Hongyan Town should make full use of the cultural resources in the region, dare to think and dare to actively plan, package projects, strive for funds, take the cultural industry as the key content to create, and promote the further development of the rural economy; it is necessary to actively improve the level of rural governance, achieve refined management, create a good rural cultural atmosphere, and create conditions for the protection and development of cultural resources. The meeting stressed that the county government team and relevant departments at the county level should do a good job in supporting and guaranteeing the work, and Hongyan Town should enhance the sense of urgency of the work, seize the opportunity, take advantage of the momentum, and provide strong support for the economic and social development of the county. At the meeting, Hongyan Town made a report on economic and social development. Deputy county governors Fan Yunliang, Bai Rujun, Su Jianjun, Zhao Dengyin, and Chen Guibing attended the meeting and made key speeches on how to implement the work in charge, and the responsible persons of relevant departments at the county level attended the meeting and answered and responded to the questions raised by Hongyan Town.
Before the meeting, the participants successively went to Baili Chunxiao Seedling Nursery Base, Jixiang Village Committee Shuimaoping Village and Hongyan Market Town to investigate the construction of Baili Chunxiao Factory Seedling Center, town and village construction and thermal difficulties.
