Arvidas Sabonis' most terrifying moment was when he got the ball at a 45-degree waist and swung the ball like an apple with one hand. At this moment, you can't blink. Because in the next instant, the ball may quietly pass to some strange corner. For using his body as a point of cover and passing around the body for a small defender, Sabonis is one of the best in the history of the planet. And the use of passing fake action to do homeopathic attack is even more unguardable. So, even if he is 223 cm tall and weighs 132 kg, he is not flexible, he can still play a role in the blocking and dismantling up to 6 meters away. Looking at his ancient videos in Europe, you can see how jealous his opponents were of him. When he catches a rebound in his own half, the opponent will have two or three people to defend him. Because he is like a quarterback in football, or a free man with exquisite long passes on the football field, he can turn from defense to attack in an instant with a precise long pass of about 15 meters. He extended basketball from two halves to full-court movement, combining the defensive core with the offensive initiator. He can act as a core anywhere to bring the ball game into his rhythm. His ball game is like a chess game, all the running is in his eyes, and the ball he holds with one hand is the baton, which can create a killing machine anytime and anywhere.

In 2003, Sabonis returned to Kaunas – and then, at the age of 40, he won the Lithuanian championship and reached the semi-finals of the Europa League. At the age of 40, he won the Lithuanian League MVP, the Europa League Regular Season MVP and the Round of 16 MVP. This desperate domination is nothing more than another proof of his strength. "Anyone who has seen Sabonis play when he was younger will know that he is one of the greatest centre-forwards of all time, that he can make his teammates play better, that he has a deep reading power about the game, just like the Big Bird, The Magician and Jordan. For players, the Hall of Fame is a great monument and an affirmation of a player's career, the best recognition besides the championship ring. The 2011 selection is an affirmation of the fiba's first-ever center. In an exclusive interview after retiring, Yao Ming commented on himself and O'Neill, thinking that he and O'Neill were not at the same level, that he had caught up with O'Neill, who was on the decline, and that there were only two people in the world who could play O'Neill head-on and have the possibility of defeating him, one was a healthy Sabonis, and the other was Wilt Chamberlain.
