Ronald Koeman will be the new manager of the first team of FC Barcelona, signing with the club until 30 June 2022.

Ronald Koeman debuted at The Dutch club Groningen and is one of the few players who has played for the Dutch three giants Ajax, Eindhoven and Feyenoord.
In 1989, Coman was reunited with his mentor Cruyff in Barcelona. During his 6 years with Barca, Koeman gradually grew into the cornerstone and meritorious captain of the Barca Dream team, becoming the best knife-bearing defender in the world at that time.
Not only does Koeman have excellent defensive ability, but his scoring ability makes many forwards ashamed. The first Champions League trophy in the club's history was won by Koeman's free-kick kill.
On 20 May 1992, Wembley Stadium witnessed Coman's death.
In 192 La Liga games for Barca, Koeman scored 67 goals and maintained a record of 25 consecutive penalties. Throughout his career, 239 goals in 685 games have made Koeman the most goalscored defender in history.

Koeman has 20 years of coaching experience and extensive resume. A year after ending his playing career, he entered Hiddink's coaching staff. After the 1998 World Cup, Coman was appointed assistant coach for Barca. In 2000, Koeman officially started his coaching career at The Dutch club Witters.
In the Eredivisie, he coached four teams: Ajax, Eindhoven, Alkmaar and Feyenoord. In addition, Koeman has also left footprints in Benfica and Valencia.
In recent years, Coeman has coached in Southampton and then Everton. He began to take over the Dutch national team in 2018, and since taking office for two years, he has led the Dutch national team out of the trough, achieving 9 wins, 2 draws and 3 losses (official competition).
