Isaiah Thomas: I feel sorry for Paul, it's very tricky right now

Former NBA player Isaiah Thomas spoke in an interview today about Chris Paul being traded to the Rockets.

"I feel sorry for Chris Paul, really, because in our expectations, he's a guy who can win the championship and we want him to win the championship. Seeing him fall into this situation at the end of his career, you want him to join a competitive team to chase the championship, and you hope there will be a follow-up deal or a buyout. But I'll remind you that he's over $120 million in salary for the next three seasons, and if you want to buy him out, you might have to pay $100 million, you'll have to pay a huge price to send him away, and it's a tricky situation right now. Thomas said.

According to NBA reporter Adrian Wojnarowski, multiple sources revealed that the Rockets sent guard Chris Paul, the first-round picks for 2024 and 2026, the first-round pick swaps in 2021 and 2025, and thunder guard Russell Westbrook.
