The Shanghai municipal delegation arrived in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region today to study and carry forward the historical story of "three thousand orphans entering Inner Mongolia", deepen exchanges and docking between the two places, and work together to promote Shanghai-Mongolia cooperation to a new level. In the afternoon, Li Qiang, secretary of the Shanghai Municipal PARTY Committee, and Shi Taifeng, secretary of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Party Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, held a discussion in Hohhot and witnessed the signing of the framework agreement on deepening strategic cooperation between the Shanghai and Mongolian governments.
