At about 8:00 a.m. on October 10, Jiang Yonghui's father and mother went to his grandmother's house to help clean the corn stalks in the field and let his 6-year-old grandson and 3-year-old granddaughter play on the road. Unexpectedly, two children chased and played on the road, and the little girl accidentally fell into a small machine well on the side of the road without a manhole cover and covered by grass. It just so happened that the wife of Li Guomin, a villager in Zhao Shed Village, was working in the field and passed by the well and heard the cries of children in the well, so she shouted loudly to her husband, who was working in the field not far away, to save people. Li Guomin heard the shouts and rushed to the well, at which time several villagers working in the fields also rushed to the scene. Li Guomin looked into the well, the well water was more than 2 meters from the ground, the little girl's head was on the well water, Li Guomin guessed that there must be something under the little girl's feet, he was afraid that the little girl would sink if she struggled in the water, so he comforted the little girl: "You don't move, Grandpa will go down to save you immediately." "But the wellhead of the machine well is not yet a little fat, and there is no rope or rescue tool at the scene." Villager Li Yongjun found a thin rope more than 2 feet long on the side of the road as a rescue tool. Li Guomin said: "I thin me down to save people, you grab my feet on it, don't let go." With that, Li Guomin went head down into the well. Because there is a distance of 2 feet can not reach the child, he put the rope down to let the child grab the rope with his hand, the child grabbed the rope for the first time, because the rope is relatively thin, when Li Guomin pulled up, the rope was slipped off, the little girl fell into the water, the good one had a pile of grass under the water, the child did not sink. Li Guomin let the child grab the rope for the second time, but still did not succeed. The third time, Li Guomin changed his method and asked inoue's people to put him down a little further as possible to shorten the distance between him and the child. Then, while stabilizing the child's emotions, he let the child grasp the rope with one hand, grab his hand upwards with the other hand, grasp the rope with the other hand and slowly lift it, while reaching down with his hand to approach the child, one foot, half a foot, three inches, two inches, one inch, when the child's small hand reached Li Guomin's hand, Li Guomin firmly grasped it, and breathed a sigh of relief, and then let the people in the well pull them up. Since the rescued child is not from Zhao Shed Village, the villagers at the scene do not know. Li Xinfang, a village cadre who heard the news, rode a tram along the road and shouted at the child's family, and it was only then that the grandparents of the child, who were working in the field, learned that her granddaughter was missing. When they came to the rescue site, they bowed their heads to thank the villagers who saved the people. Since the child's grandmother is the old girl of Zhao Shed Village, the villagers know that the rescued child is from Lei Lou Village in Tangzhuang Township.
The parents of the rescued children were all working in Guangdong, and when they heard about Li Guomin and others saving their daughters, they were very grateful, so they took a leave of absence and rushed back to Zhao Shed Village to thank Li Guomin for saving their lives in person.
